Time and place. That is the point. If you can't determine the two and act accordingly, then you are an idiot. |

Wayne, you're more than entitled to your "option", but I think you meant opinion. But anyways... We're also entitled to criticize your opinion. That ear piercing swooshing sound. That is the point we're trying to convey, flying right over your head. And your deleting of posts, and adding more fuel to the fire just shows us we're right in our "opinion". Childish.... |

Illbuell, That's a 1/2 mile kart track and Polini makes pocket bikes. So were you racing pocket bikes? Follow up question... Have you raced full-size motorcycles on a track that's more than a half mile long? I'm just askin' |

Yep polini 50cc pocket bikes.. That's where Rossi Valentino came from you know.. It was fun but I like big bikes better. Same concept though. I did run a 1.01 at little tally in AL on a R6.. The track record there is a .59 I'm going to get a 1125R and set it up right for this year. I missed a slightly damaged one at th NPA sale for $1300.. i had already spent my limit that day when that came around.. |

Ok time for my two cents I guess. 1st of all take a look at the bikes in the second video. Those of you who call him a SQUID better notice that all of those bikes are customized for stunt riding with equipment designed for that purpose. I by no means am anywhere near that qualified to stunt like that and don't wanna be either, its just not my thing but it is ILLBUELS thing so let the man be himself. Also a SQUID does these things on the street with his 20 yr old girlfriend on the back talkin on her cell and neither wearing helmets or safety equipment. 2nd, and maybe I missed this, but I didnt see where it said ILLBUELL was drivin the bike thru the city like an ahole but if he was then I have to agree with other posters here and say that whoever rode their bike like that thru traffic seriously needs to lay of the heroin or whatever drug he/she was doing at the time cuz that was stupid and put alot of innocent lives at risk. Anyone of those vehicles could have and several probably did have small children in them. |

Yeah it was me.. I'm the A hole doing a hundred on th streets. And running kids over on sidewalks,, LOL Just Kidding...I do find a clear road ahead and ride wheelie every now and then.. or stoppie up to a red light after i make sure no one is behind me to hit me.. I do like to play against the approval of cops/mature riders i guess.. but seriously its in moderation. |

1st of all, You need to read the entire thread. That's not entirely possible however, since He modified/deleted his posts. I guess you missed where I mentioned it. 2nd, he didn't post his video until AFTER his squidly comments about doing wheelies down the expressway. |

I won't ride wheelies on the interstate. I won't ride wheelies on the interstate. I won't ride wheelies on the interstate. I won't ride wheelies on the interstate. I won't ride wheelies on the interstate. I won't ride wheelies on the interstate. I won't ride wheelies on the interstate. X 1000 so please, please forgive me Mr. Steve....... PS. The term Squid came from guys in the 50's who couldn't keep their car straight in a drag race.. so basicly someone who was out of control or didn't know what they were doing. Eh, I guess I don't know what i'm doing per Mr Steve.. Anyone want a 09 CR? I got no business on it.. |

Illbuell, I've been roadracing for about 25 years with the past four spent racing an SV650. The last two seasons I put together my own endurance racing team, and that's what I'll likely do with the 1125R if I decide that the Buell has potential to be a good racebike for me. I've just started with the Buell, so I don't have much input on race setup yet. I'm just doing small things like build a linkage to switch to GP style shifting and doing some CAD drawings for a steering damper bracket. I do know that the 1125 is very sensetive to changes in chassis setup, so things like switching brands or models of tires will have to be done carefully if you want to maintain your handling the way it is. Even though I don't have specific knowledge on the 1125, IMO the first thing for any bike that is going to the racetrack is to forget trying to make more power and spend your money getting the suspension right. I do think your stunting skills will come in handy when it comes to the finesse it takes for doing things like trailbraking into corners. |

I can't wait... I see some companys have dampers that comes with their own bracket. And I found some rear sets with GP shifting if you want th links? I think your right on the tires. Even on our stunt bikes a different brand changed everything about handling. I done some measuring to see why and some tires would be a half inch more radius than the previous brand.. Thats a big change.. |
