Does anyone know of any after market front master cylinders for an 08 1125R? I need a new one, and was seeing what other options are out there other than stock. I am putting my bike back together, I have everything to get it back on the road this weekend, but then found out the Master Cyl I ordered from Harley was back ordered. Bummed If anyone knows of any that would work please let me know thanks |

So trick, and one of the upgrades I've made that left me with that "good God, how did I ever live without it" feeling. I still have the OEM nissans on my street-legal 1125r bikes, and that's fine there, but this is a whole new level on the track. The bleeder on the top is fantabulous. Zip tie the brake overnight, tap the line a few times, and all the air just pops out of the system. The brake is so there and trails off so predictably now, spare the bit of brake drag the ZTL generates on its own. Really, one of the best performance upgrades you can make, IMHO. +1 Brembo. I have one on my S1 with Lyndall Gold pads and it stops WAY better than the CR. I have the cast non adjustable version. It is so much more progressive you can't describe it. Must have mod if you ride aggressive. (Message edited by skntpig on January 21, 2010) |

Jdugger, glad to hear that. I have one on mine, but won't get to try it until spring. Which pads do you like ? Stock rotor or one of the upgraded one's ? Thanks ! |

I'm running the EBC Extreme Pro, but I'm starting to notice they are hard to get. Dennis Kirk has been BO for a while now. I'm running stock rotors for now, but thinking about the 5mm finned option with the new brake mounting hardware designed to better dissipate the heat. |
