I use the River Road Goldwing Liner Bags. They work very well in the Journey cases. I've had mine for 6 years and they still look new. The link below will show you what they look like, it's not an endorsement of the vendor. http://www.goldwingcountry.com/detail.cfm?model_ID =0&Category_ID=147&manufacturer_ID=368&product_ID= 14153&sblid_name=River_Road_Liner_Bags_for_Goldwin g_Side_Case_and_Trunk_Case_Liners__All___Bags_ |

It looks like Hepco & Becker makes inner bags for the Journey set. http://www.hepco-becker.de/_eng/journey.html |

My wife bought me a set for Christmas. She went to the local dealer, who didn't have any, but they did a search and found a set at another dealer. They didn't order them for her, but my wife called and ordered them from the other dealership.I would think any dealership could do a search for you. Maybe try a sponsor. |

watch flee bay. I see the liners and cases on there all the time lately. I think right now there is 5 different sets of buell cases plus someone selling a set of pelican cases with a unique mount. I did see a top case liner on there today. |

Look for a better fitting bag. I have the Buell bags and the don't actually fit very well. The squared shape does not match the bags interior and always requires a bit of fussing to make it fit in. You can see it in the picture. This means you can't overstuff the bag, you'll bust the latches trying to close it up. I still use one for clothes and carry it into the motel/hotel on long trips. Otherwise I look like an Apollo astronaut; helmeted, special suit and carrying a hard case. Want my second one? PM me ( I'm not sure if that works or how to get to it.. comp challenged) and I'll fold up the new one and ship it in a USPS box for 25 bucks. |

Whisprstealth-I will, however I have never posted a pic here, tell me how and I will do it this weekend. The bags in the hard case are not as pretty as the expensive ones, but I do not care about what they look like when locked in the hard bag. I have used these bags for 3, 10-14 day trips also numerous weekend trips, and like them ok for the few bucks that I spent. What I did was take a measurment of the inside of my bag and then went to the local Wally store and just opened the soft bag and got the measurment. If I were going to do it again, I would take the hard bag in, talk to someone at the front and tell them that I wanted to make sure the soft bag would fit and then actually size them in the hard bags. I also have never had a problem with my bags leaking as has been reported by other so I did not look for water tight bags, I suppose if one of the hard bags springs a leak I will use a lawn and leaf bag for the soft bags. If cosmetics were more important than function, I do not think that I would be riding a Uly in the first place. Also I only use one in the side, that is all I need for my clothes etc., I also have a different soft bag, again wally world for the trunk that I sometimes use and sometimes not. |

What Tiltcylinder said about the fit of the bags into the sidecases is true. There are generic bags that fit better and are much cheaper. However, if you really want a pair of these bags, I've also got a single one for sale at the same price as Tiltcycliner's. ($25 including shipping) $50 for a pair of the Hepco-Becker bags is less than half the price of new, but is about three times as expensive as just going to your local sports store or Wally world and buying something that fits...... Barocky : Your dealer can actually go into HDNet and see if anybody has them in stock. If so, then you can go that route. Tiltcylinder: You're right about the bags and overstuffing, but I've never broken a latch due to the shape of the bags. I actually love the bags, they are well made and provide me with plenty of room. Here's a hint: Go to Target/Wallymart and pick up some of those vacuum bags that you can push all the air out of your clothes with. You'll be able to pack everything you want using those an the Buell bags. I packed all three bags for a 9 day trip for three people (including two women) using the vacuum bags. Never had any issues.
