Took this a few days ago.
Last week the AT said 10 dF on the way in to work.
I've had to do some duck-walking across ice in the neighborhood but the roads are dry.
Corsa IIIs are like steel bands when cold.
I shifted into 5th at 75 yesterday and the back tire spun...

Dig the gold wheels! Yeah, I rode around the neighborhood for a while yesterday on my first voyage out on the R. Only 5 miles, but great to scratch that mid winter itch. |

I feel for you guys in the cold climate...
I was in Vegas for the last 11 days.... rode 1700+ miles. of course right now i'm back at work and won't even see my bike for the next 19 days. atleast when i get back i'll have another 11 days to rack up more grins  |

Salt and sand on the roads here on L.I. cleared up some so I got to take the 1125 out for a while on Sat. Been riding the FJR to work because I feel safer w/the ABS and I'm more used to it in foul weather. Having heated grips,seat and jacket liner are a big plus too!!!
I spent the morning yesterday installing grip heaters on the 1125. Just as I finished and was about to test them out it started raining. At least no more white stuff for a while. Temps are supposed to be in the 40's for the next few days so I'll test them out tomorrow. |

Couldn't take it anymore. Got the warm gear on and went for a spin.
40 miles later...I have major grins...and I never got it above 6,000 rpms. But it will get to 90 like....real quick.
I like. I like alot. |

Temp got up to about 45 or so on Saturday. I got in 100 miles on back roads in western Virginia. It was GREAT! |
