Looks good keep up the good work adams.I believe yours will be similiar to my setup.What size is the case your using?I got my merges today from cone but like I said I will try to see what the stock down pipe does for performance on a dyno before I proceed to design a down pipe that might not be worthy.If results are good I'll design a expansion chambered downpipe. |

I was under the impression that a catalytic converter was more of a honeycomb design with ceramic and platinum in it. The stock pipe is hollow (the 49 state version anyway) and the holes at the front are just another helmholtz chamber. With no catalyst, how could it be a converter?

Well, I can't photoshop 'em, but with the '09 Buell website I noticed that when you switch between the colors the bikes look *in between* the 2 colors. Doing Alt and Print Screen you can capture the screenshot to put into pretty much any graphics program and paste the results.
Here's a pink '09 I did a while back:
And here's a pink 2010 I did just now to see if it still works:
Obviously I caught them at different points in their color morphing...

NOW thats pretty damn cool, i wouldn't sport the color, but the fact you had the time to sit there an see the color changing and then print screen it... lol thats awesome...you got to much time on your hands.. 
As long as blackflash doesn't make a pink pipe i'll patiently wait for a finished product, if i ever see a pink exhaust system though... you won't be getting any of my money LOL |

Well tommorow is the big day.I will see what the dyno holds for this quick mockup system.I will see if the OE downpipe/ and my custom muffler is even worthy and try to get equal or increases in numbers.Who knows she might fail.I just really want to try this stock downpipe for some reason.I have a same cone engineering collector as adams and tube but why not try the stock downpipe first.This stuff is fun and I enjoy it.I plan two baselines.Then the o s b tune and get my stock pipe dialed in .Then the pipe three stock baslelines.Then I will diasble the 02s and run 5% Then 7% then 9% more fuel with the new pipe and see if theres more grunt in the r with this pipe.Its not a tune im building.Just getting some afr data.I cant wait.Ill get some video if I can .Ill post tommorrow night. |
