do not have the maps but yes you should take off the tfi as ecm spy can change anything and more than that tfi unit can. |

That TFI unit is probably the cause of your issues. |

What yr. 9 do you have,I have stock and race maps for most years. You may run into some conflicts with the Dobeck,I always try to keep things as simple as possible so your not chasing problems that don't exist. |

Froggy Posted on Sunday, January 17, 2010 That TFI unit is probably the cause of your issues. Possible, but not likely. Assuming a hardware or wiring problem does not exist... I had a TFI on my '06 Uly for 2 years and could never detect (seat of the pants) any difference in running. With or without ECM Spy mapping. |

I removed the dobeck tfi and replaced the straight pipe with the jardine, ( the straight pipe fell off goin down the highway..ooops!!!) I used Ecmspy to readjust the fuel map and here it is: ( the pic is too large for badbuell) http://www.buellxb.com/Buell-XB-Forum/Buell-Lightn ing-XB12S-XB12Ss-CityX-XB12Scg/Jardine-Fuel-Map |

"... as of right now all seems good, i am happy with the current performance.", posts Coastieirder at link above. Fuel maps & timing are same on my '04 XB12 @ front & rear cylinder. It has stock fuel injection system: one 02 sensor @ rear cylinder. |
