Does anyone have a pic of where the fluid comes out from the clutch weep? Anyone else had the paint peel off the cover? I did a search, but didn't find any? (only have an iPhone) do you need the rev B cover for the repair kit? thanks! |

There is a weep hole at the 6:00 position under the "puck". You don't need the rev B for a fix. I still have my original rev A and mine's been fixed twice. (Hopefully this last time will be the fix). |

Thanks, does it come out of the "puck" or the base of the cover? Why the different "puck" on the 09? Is that the only difference between A&B? Thank you very much! Winter sux... |

It actually comes out of the cover. I don't know exactly why they changed the covers. |

Good question....I've been wondering about this myself. Since there's a "weep hole", I guess that something like the bottom pic is to be expected...but drops on the ground are excessive? |

that hole is for the air that needs to move as the diaphragm moves in and out. |

that hole is for the air that needs to move as the diaphragm moves in and out. That's the first explanation that I have seen for the reason for the hole. Thank you! There is a kit for the Rev A covers (most 2008s) as well as the Rev B covers (all the rest.) Suggest that you keep the leak as clean as posssible so that the damage from the caustic brake fluid is kept to a minimum.} |

> That's the first explanation that I have seen for the reason for the hole. Thank you! It made me wonder for a long time, too. Then, one day I put my finger over the hole and had a buddy actuate the clutch lever. Ah-ha, said I. |

What reason would the dealer have to replace rev A with rev B? Just the paint peeling off? Why is rev B better? Thanks! |
