Seems like they were about $120 two years ago when my son broke his. A little epoxy, Bondo, sandpaper, spray paint and it looked like new. Wish I would have taken some before and after pictures. |

I just paid $150.00 at the dealer for a new one and they also give you 10% back on a card to spend at the dealer. Some guy offered to sell me one on another Buell board for $175.00 used. |

yep, no one checks retail price it seems. i watched them sell for more then that when i needed mine before i worked at a shop. bought it for ALOT less then ebay and got one brand new |

That almost happened to me when I crashed the bike a few years ago. Got into a bidding war with 2 people and the price was approaching $200. With about 9 minutes left I thought to myself "I'm bidding on this thing and I'm just assuming it's expensive." I quick call and I find out it's only $140 bucks. Whew, lesson learned. Never bid on things that you don't know the original price of!!! Since then I have seen more of these brackets sell for more than they go for new, even ones with broke tabs. |
