I just got the new black rims for my 05 buell and I just got the axle bearing spacer kit to make them fit but they shorted me one bearing and only gave me two and i guess it needs three. Does anyone know if the bearing is the same as a harley one or where i can easily get one cause right now ive got to call and order another one and the closest buell dealership is 2 hrs away. Any help appreciated me. |

Just take the "actual" bearing number off of the bearing you have, then call a bearing house/shop and get another. They are most likely cheaper that way also. Especially if you use the internet. Mike |

Somewhere there is a measurement given in these forums but I don't remember the size or if they are metric or imperial. Froggy prolly knows. I would probably order something from Boca Bearings in Florida, you would probably have it by Thursday next week and then you can order something really good or just the same. American Sport Bike should have them. And if they are the stock wheels then your nearest Buell service dealer should maybe have one. |

Rear wheel bearings are 6006-2RS (30 x 55 x 13 mm). Front are 6005-2RS (25 x 47 x 12 mm). You should be able to find one at an industrial bearing supply house. Here's a link to a thread on Uly wheel bearings (they're the same) with lots of info: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/142 838/442488.html?1251983886 |

I bet you can get nice ceramic bearings from Boca, of course it might cost $50 to $100 each but they are really nice. In that size expect to pay $25 or so from Boca for a good high speed sealed bearing, or the normal speed rating might be in the $0.99 bin. |
