Well, we got out for a 66 mile ride today. It felt great. Took "little blue" as the CR is downstairs being customized. Got to scrub some miles off my brand new tires too.
Spring can't get here soon enough!!!!!  |

I got 75 miles in today, Julie. Started to get cold that last 30 miles. I was on the XB9 since I haven't picked up the plates for the CR yet. I can't wait until spring, either. |

Having heated gear makes the cold rides comfy. I have heated gloves/jacket liner and pants. Without the gloves, I don't think I'd make it on cold days. Been there, done that and it ain't any fun.
This was just a tease tho. |

Little Blue and the TT. And my brand new tires. Went back to the 180 in the rear. Definitely much better, quicker turning.

Grumble. Would have road today, but the 1125R is down for the 12K service (in my garage) and the XB will be getting torn apart for some engine work I've been planning on doing. |

Thanks Julie! Looking for some stuff for my dirt bike. The snow is finally starting to disappear from my neighborhood street from last week. It was never plowed so from the cars running on it, turned to ice. I am hoping to be able to get out today or tomorrow for a ride, if their is a path of asphalt showing to be able to get to the main street. |

We're hoping to get out again this weekend. It's suppose to be nice.
Dan hasn't been too busy at work so he's been very busy mapping out all kinds of dirt bike trails for us to try this year. Can't wait.

John, I told Dan he needs to go with just the boys to do some dirt biking. He needs to be able to let it loose and he can't do that with me.

We're hoping to get out again this weekend. It's suppose to be nice.
I would be nice to meet up with a few Buellers even if it is for a short ride.
It looks like it will be real nice down South in J2Blue land...
Lynn needs to get out with her new Frankenstein boots on the Buell.

I will have Frank take a picture of my Frankenstein boots this weekend. I love them....I am pretty close to being flat footed now on my Buell and can reach my kickstand with no problem....yeh!!
I am going to get my Harley out today...I still won't ride my Buell unless Frank is with me....Hope to see everyone this weekend!! |

Come on down Frank and Lynn, and anyone else who wants to. I was out last Sunday on Hwy. 50 and noticed it is clear of sand and gravel. The shady parts of the canyon can get pretty cold, but mid day it should be fine. |

I was looking at the open track days for High Plains raceway to get prepped for some track days and my private lesson. Now we just need to pray for warm weather. Dan was saying that the Farmers Almanac is predicting another cool summer.  I'm hoping they're wrong. |

Need some help guys. I'm getting married in March and am planning the Honeymoon. Well, was planning on enjoying much of what CO has to offer so I wanted to go to a hot springs. (Figure it will be in March and still cold and I've been told a hot springs is awesome that way.) I'm checking out some of the ones up in Steamboat Springs. I'm looking at Strawberry Park as the place to go. Now, I know this will sound odd, but I would like to find an au natural one up there. I don't know if the one I'm looking at is. (Wanna be adventurous) Anyways, what can you tell me about the one I'm looking at and is it one of those types? Or, can you recommend me one. I'm open to suggestions. |

Have fun out there in Canon City land and be careful. Dan's in the process of bringing the CR's up to the garage so we can take them out for a ride today. Planning on doing a trip down to Palmer Lake. I can hear the engines now.
Went to the RV show last night. There was a bus RV that is going for almost 200K. WOW. I still like our little toy hauler. It's perfect for what we want.
Ryan, I'll try to call my friends today in Steamboat.

I hope everyone had a great day. It is still in the high 50s in Fountain. We just got home from riding down to Canyon City and hooked up with Jody and his girl (she is a cutie) and on to Texas Creek for lunch then a short run up Skyline Drive. It was a little chilly in the morning but I had the heated gloves on the Uly. Lynn did not have them on her bike but did great. We used the same setup as Julie and Dan for bike to bike communications and they worked great after I figured out how to close the vents on the helmets. No problem after that even at highway speed.
I have been going here for years but never knew the name of the dinner.
