When I was home for Christmas I was surprised when I walked into House of Harley in Milwaukee and found some 2010 Buell's on the floor. The first surprise was this Red 2010 1125R:
Of course, it was:
But what I found most unusual was the low VIN and early production date:
So this was a very early COV that could've been used for pictures, manuals, etc. And they also had this 2010 XB12R, which I believe was unsold at the time:

I know opinions are like belly buttons (or that a-word) ... But on the red bike, I really like the '10 graphics. That's a great looking XB too - Always loved yellow. Mike |

Wow! Thanks for the pics! Usually those bikes never get the general public. Good to know they decided to sell them instead of sending the to the crusher. Good find 1313! |

That's cool #3. One of the lucky few. Interesting stand under the XB. Wonder if that would get a wheelie ticket in Florida? |

The bike was delivered to the house today. I was in the garage for about 30 minutes getting on, getting off and staring, getting on, etc. Damn what a bike. Can't wait to fire this baby up. This is one of those machines that has a presence others just don't have. Wow. |

Nice bikes. I have managed to get one of the few 1125 CR available in France. I have first tried to get an R but with no success. Does somebody know how many 2010 1125R/CR were sent to France ? (Message edited by easylarveur on January 15, 2010) |

Hog...I have the same problem and I've had mine for a month come tomorrow. Supposed to be sunny and the roads are pretty dry. I may have to make a little excursion. Its just wrong that we bought these in December and now have to just stare at them. |

Hogzilla, I bought the one on ebay. As far as im concerned 9500 was a steal and i had to have it. Glad to be back in the Buell Family. Sold my 04XB12R 2 years ago for an Flhx. I love that bike but need a Buell in the stable too. |

Wow Chiefiron congratulations, I hope you'll be very happy with the bike (I am sure you will be). It's still a good reduction on the original list price. |

Chiefiron, congrats! Not sure if you've seen it in person yet, but you will love the 2010. In my humble opinion, it's the most attractive one they built. I'm a little biased though. You now have a bike that very view have. It's really hard to put a price on that. At this point it's all relative. So now we have 3 of the 7 white 2010s accounted for! |

Yeah i agree Hogz. I'm usually not into white bikes but it looks really good. Im glad i didnt have to pay any more but probably would have. I have not seen it yet and wont until end of Feb probably. I work over seas and dont come home until then. One of the first places i plan on riding it though is Firebird race way out in Phoenix. I did the same with my Xb12R first place i rode that was Pocono. It wont get ridden on long rides, thats what my Big bike is for but it will see plenty of use thats for sure. |

Chiefiron, The white and black looks amazing. I stared at mine for a long, long time last night. Mine was just delivered yesterday. I have a 2006 Street Bob for my longer rides. Used to have an Ultra. It's great having the best of both worlds. Skratch, I feel your pain brother. |

I would rather ride than drive thats for sure. Im so glad im moving out of Upstate NY. i took a 1000 mile round trip ride from home Rochester Ny to DC back in Nov. 35 degrees and drizzle but by the time i was in Gettysburg it was alot warmer and only raining a little. Big faring and cruise control sure helped on that ride. |

Man I do miss cruise control and a radio. It is nice on a long ride. |

Love the FLHX. A buddy of mine has Vivid Black with the blacked out front forks and black V&H exhaust. Looks great. Great collection you have there! |

Yeah unfortunately i dont have the XB any more. I put it on the showroom floor back in early 08 for 7500 thinking it would never sell. lasted a week so i used the money and had my Flhx motor done some pipes and open air. Cant believe how fast that big ole cruiser is. I also have an 84 soft tail chopper. I'll get another XB though just dont know if it will be an R or Uly. |
