I had similar happen at a local less than stellar dealer. They close at like 5 instead of 7 during the winter, yet don't post on the website that. |

I rode to my dealer the Sunday before Christmas and they were closed! Always open on Sunday before. This economy is truly a bear. |

Vallejo HD/Buell has always been a PRO-Buell shop. They've sponsered many BRAG rides back in the day, and fielded a couple of race bikes and supported quite a few local racers. I would assume the phone message was an oversight when they changed their hours due to the slowing economy. Cut them some slack, and continue bringing them your business. |

They are also under different ownership, management and staff than "back in the day." |

Flyer. +1 on cut them some slack. Mistakes happen. Whenever I get into a similar situation, I think back to all the times I've made mistakes on appointment times, etc. Then I think of the good experiences- where stores, doctor's offices, etc. have stayed open or squeezed me in when I needed them. It all balances out. Take the time to let the shop know what happened, and then give them another chance. If it (or something similar) happens again, then might be the time to take your business elsewhere. My two cents, offered respectfully by a guy who has made plenty of mistakes of his own. |
