Has anyone come across lower fairings for the 1125 in white? Looking at getting a set, but would rather not paint a black set.

Can get fiberglass race lowers, they come unpainted.

But if you are looking for the Buell ones, no, they only came as black.

I had my side fairings PAINTED white:

a

Expensive.

The oem's are available only in black, because they are vacuum-formed from black sheet (that, I expect, is only available in black) rather than injection-moulded as are the rest of the plastic bits (except the Australia-only rear mudguard, which is also vacuum-formed).

Red, looks nice. Do you have plans for a belly pan?

If your good with Vinyl , you could also vinyl wrap them, then alter if you don;t like it, you can peel it off and go with another color....

" Do you have plans for a belly pan?". Yup, if someone produces a pan that is designed to mate up with the oem side fairings. No hurry until then; might not even have the bike by then.

Here is the thread with my R with white fairings just installed:

Had to paint the black ones. Not a big deal. As soon as someone produces a mating belly pan, I will be on it like a flea on a dog.

Ohbuellman,
What color white did you use. Did you match it at a body shop? After seeing yours, I believe that is definitely the way to go. I could always add something to break up the white.

Dosmie, your dealer likely has a paint shop that they work closely with. They should be able to get a pretty good color match. This is what I did. If I recall, it was $150 to paint the fairings. The match is not 100%, but it is pretty close. This is the fastest and easiest way to go.

I also know that Buell sells touch up paint and spray cans for frame and body repair and likely sells it in quarts also. Somebody here should be able to give you a part number if you want to DIY.

I don't think this is the case considering that the bodywork isn't painted.}}
