Does anyone know the part/s number for the outdoorsman brackets for the side and the top case w/all mounting hardware? |

I just picked up a service manual and parts manual, so I figure I can help out. These don't have any 'kits', but they list all the part numbers needed. Topcase:

Sweet! Thank you so much. I just bought Hepco and Becker bags and they do not sell a mount for Buell or at least I could not find one. |

That's correct, HB cannot get the Buell-specific stuff like mount brackets and key codes. At least, not for the stuff Buell re-sold. They (HB) DO have, however, a bracket set to put their bags on the XB12Ss. Check their website; the fitment charts are...less than intuitive, shall we say? But it's on there. |

The kit that Hepco & Becker states will fit both the Lightning S and Lightning Ss will NOT fit the Ss (Lightning Long) unless you make your own front mounting bracket. I had to make up a pair of front brackets when we put bags on Terri's Ss. They were pretty obtuse about admitting that their kit wouldn't fit, even after I sent something like 20 different photos showing how things wouldn't even come close to lining up. However, with some cardboard and sheet metal for a template, then getting some steel bent and drilled to fit, we got the racks mounted on the bike. |

They were pretty obtuse about admitting that their kit wouldn't fit,... What? HB admit they have a faulty product? Like the Journey latches and seals? Sorry, couldn't resist... |

I have a Uly though so I do not think that kit will work even if I do make a new front mount. |
