You guys are all gonna get fat and lazy sitting around talking about riding... I got my 1190 kit in from EBR yesterday, here's one of the pistons, and an intake valve:  It should produce some ENORMOUS HP when it's all installed and tuned! | ||

No, the muffler bearings come with the diesel kit. The diesel kit has a longer skirt, and the top of the piston is concave. | ||

I would love to, but I am traveling out of town on Monday and will be gone a week. This weekend will be getting ready for work next week, and cleaning and packing up all of the Christmas boxes and decorations. My older son, wife, and granddaughter is going to be moving in with us, so It is rearrange the house weekend, if I can get it all done. Thanks for the offer though. REX | ||

At the moment we are just barely getting started; this is our first week actually getting things set up in the building and setting up computers and inventory. We do not even have our parts up on our site yet, mainly because of the work that needs to be done to set correct retail/racer prices. As Erik Buell Racing is a new company, we also really have no dealer network, and have not yet set up a structure for margins for dealers. Updated costs from suppliers are not yet been established for EBR, and we are going to be working on that over the next few weeks as we get in the costs. Also, the race parts Buell Motorcycles had were mostly sold to dealers with very small or negative margins, which we cannot do and survive, so we found we cannot work off the old prices without individually checking and verifying. Hey Wyckedflesh, Nope didn't finish the custom FireBlast. bought a used frame and put it back to stock so she could start riding it again. She's happy that she's riding again, we done over 200 miles since yesterday. We are pretty much taking them everywhere we go now with the better weather down here. Bart, I wish I had been watching the board while I was up there, too much going on in my life I guess. I don't like the CR's but that one is Sweeeeeettttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone up for a ride tomorrow? I know it's late notice, but I've been thinking of riding up to Bagdad late tomorrow morning. If your unfamiliar with the route, the road branches off just north of Yarnell Pass, and heads west to Bagdad, it's like a roller coaster. All up and down and left and right, it's a wild road. I'll probably head out around 10AM if anyone is interested. Saturday, we are taking a short ride out to Bartlett Lake again. Nice turnout last time. Again, probably heading out around 9 or 10AM. |
