That thing looks mint with the exception of the blood or whatever on the airbox. Hell I think I am gonna take the next plane to Arkansas for it. |

I thought it looked pretty good too. It's got a clean title too. Maybe just a repo. But if it's at copart it's got a story to it. |

I think the air box thing is peeling paint... I suspect it was a cherry bomb airbox that somebody hazed and tried to paint. |

Good call. Now I can see the orange peel on the black paint. I was wondering what that was. |

It must be me, I'm having trouble finding it. This is the only Buell I can find and it doesn't match your descriptions.
This one is FUBAR! |

Well, found more Buells but no 07 XB12 in good shape but some good deals if you can turn your own wrench. I sorted the first time by bid amount and guess that changed by the time I searched. |

The sale is over. They have a convoluted bidding system. The bike went from the initial bidding, to a virtual sale. Around 1 pm the virtual bid was reset at at $1725. I'm not sure if they pick a number or if that was driven up by the inital bid. If no one bids in the virtual sale it is there option to accept the inital bid or not. By 2 they took the bike down. I guess it sold. If you enter the bidding you can see whats going on, but other then that they don’t seem to let you know what happened. I found 9 other Buells. Some are crashed pretty hard. Sure hope none were fatalities. (Message edited by buelleaver on January 06, 2010) |

I was excited when I clicked on that link only to learn you need a license to buy this particular bike. If you have a dealer license (they say any business license...don't know, don't care at this point), you can bid on anything. If you don't, you need to search the site based on things that are available to the public. Out of all the Buells on the site, only one Blast was available to the public. You also need to pay a $24.95 fee just to be a member of the site before you bid... |

Yea, I looked into it closer and they don’t seem too honest. When you sign up they don’t mention until the end the part about needing $24.95 and that you need a License on top of that to bid on most things. Screw Copart. Hey 1324, just noticed we're from the same town (Message edited by buelleaver on January 07, 2010) |

I "bought" a 03 Dyna Wide Glide through them last spring. Long story short it is a scam......in sorts. - I was high bidder when auction ended Sunday night at 11 pm. - Recvd an email saying I had till 2 pm the next bus. day to send in a deposit of $1000. Which I did through wire transfer at bank. This was 1st thing in the a.m. -Then I get and email saying "I have been out bid"....what the f..... - I get them on the phone and heres the scoop..... The bike was being auctioned off at there facility that day. I had been out bid and did I want to increase my bid....I was pissed....how can I win and auction, send a deposit and then be out bid...?... -I got them on the phone and after the " we will send you a refund within XX days....I had enough. After telling them I was contacting the attorney general my deposit $ was put into my account within minutes. -Basically they have a ton of fine print and most are registered in states that allow a lot of that crap to happen. |

Wow, I feel bad for posting a link to such a rip off site, but the thrill of scrounging around a junk yard from the comfort of my desk was too much not to share. Lol.. I think.. At least we’ve learned about them. 1324- I ride in the cold too, but the roads have soo much salt on them right now. I hate getting my bike that salty. I'll send a pm some time soon.. |

I did some searching after, it appears to be legit based on what I have read elsewhere online including first hand experience from others on some Supra forum. Not sure why they gave you a run around and a hassle. |

My dad's four wheeler and last two motorcycles were picked up from Copart auctions, and aside from the ridiculous 'service charges' he's had really good luck. Still, if they've got that kind of small print, better to CYA. |
