I want to go to Bubs 2010. I wanted to go to the 2009, but economics precluded it. Have they posted the dates for 2010 yet? |

I need an event in April since I am leaving for Iraq in May for a year! I am considering trailering the 1125R out to CA in March to attend the Jason Pridmore STAR school. He is coming to High Plains in August...but I can't wait that long. |

Cil, I sent Dave an email so he should add you to the list so you will know everything when I do, they are having a meeting on Sunday but it is to far North for me to get up there and maybe too far South for you two. Great to see you post in the Colorado Section Cil... I want to go to Bubs as well. Steve, I hate to hear you will be back in the action, make sure you let us know what your mailing address will be so we can send you any supplies you might need. I assume Troyz will be on the same deployment? Frank |

Frank, I'll be sure to keep everyone posted on the deployment...but I'm hoping to get a lot of riding in between now and May! Troy is actually deploying with the Aviation Battalion in 2011...I'm heading out with our Medevac Company this year. The next couple days are supposed to be nice, with temps close to 50...so I am for sure going to get out for a ride at least one of those two days! |

Steve, I looked up the schedule for Pridmore and it looks good. I tried to talk Dan into going out to Ca for one of those but....he didn't buy it. May have to do the one in August. Need to start saving up now. Am hoping that racing2savelives has an event at Miller this year, would love to go there again too. We will definitely keep you and your family in our prayers. And thank you for your service. Hope to get together with you before you leave for some rides. |

Well I couldn't take it anymore...my wife and I went out for a couple hours of ridding today on the Uly. We went to Morrison, then Hwy 8 to Everygreen, then Hwy 74 to I-70 back down to Colfax all the way to Downtown Denver then back to Golden! The roads were fine all the way! Tomorrow I just may have to take the 1125R out for a good ride too! Just may be a good day to start breaking in my new Buell racing leathers I got for Christmas (OK, I bought them for myself)! |

Thanks again Zac. Though, had a small tip over so I will probably be ordering a bit more. Got the bike off the truck fine, problem was I ended up on a decline and didn't ensure it was on the kickstand to well. Sigh... |

Julie, the bike looks great especially with out those stock mirrors. I see you went with two bar end mirrors. Probably a good idea with the more aggressive riding position. |

John, I actually was thinking about you when I put the mirrors on. I started with one but wasn't able to see very well on the right side. So for now, I'll use both and when I get used to this bike, depending on how the mirrors work, I may take the right one off. Only time will tell. It doesn't look too bad tho with the two mirrors. It's suppose to be nice this weekend so I may try to get Dan to go for a ride. |

Zac, got a question. I ordered the shroud for the left side pod. I was looking at part numbers and it would appear that the two pieces are bought as one. Any chance you could look into that? |

For all you guys who just got 1125's. Thought I'd help you out with some parts. Namely, oil filters. The HD price for 1 filter and o-ring is ~$26. http://www.af1racing.com/store/Scripts/prodView.as p?idproduct=7770 That site has the filters we need (I check the manufacture site and the part number matches) for $20 for a 2 pack from what I read. So, I just ordered 4 filters for myself as I really don't want to play this game again for a while. As for the o-ring, well, you can get that from the site, but I myself would probably just reuse the old one if it's still good. Otherwise I would go to an auto parts store and get a new one, not hard to match up. Heck, wal mart might even carry one for all we know. |

I just used one of those filters this past weekend. The fit was perfect. I'll know more about how it performs once I can put some miles on the bike! |

I believe those filters might be the same ones we're getting from HD. Just lower cost because it's not going through the Hundred Dollar sorter. |

Awesome jewels. I figured i'd post up so everyone can find them. Also, talked to Zac and he's going to see if High Country will start to carry those filters as a cheaper solution to the OEM ones. |

Here's the web address for the gaskets. Dan said it should get you right to the page. #2403 right side, 2413 Left side http://www.cgenterprises.com/gaskets_aluminum.htm (Message edited by jumpinjewels on January 07, 2010) |
