Julseygirl, your reading skills could stand work. Or maybe you don't consider calling my statement of fact "patently inaccurate" the same as calling me a liar. English, do you speak it? As I said once before already, I'm glad to post the emails I sent and since I'm the sender, that doesn't violate any whiny internet protocols. Bood, I don't see where Court called you a liar. He said your statement was inaccurate. HUGE difference.
quote:inaccurate adj not accurate; imprecise, inexact, or erroneous inaccurately adv inaccurateness n
quote:lie 2 (l) n. 1. A false statement deliberately presented as being true; a falsehood. 2. Something meant to deceive or give a wrong impression.
Re-read you post. Court was only correcting the inaccuracies that you posted due to not knowing the details of what is going on. Also, please do post the emails, but I don't what you are trying to accomplish other than prove that Erik is up to his neck with work. |

Bood Ahhh so you are one of the bedroom tough guys the internet is rife with... Why else would you add the "yGirl" bit to my tag? You haven't actually been called a liar, and yes indeed I do speak English and oddly enough I live in the country that invented it so it will be a cold day in Hell before you're able to give me any lessons in reading or writing in English. Still, whatever floats your boat I guess, you're definately not worth any more of my time.. |

Holy crap. Hurry up Summer, the natives are restless. Bood, you will find, if you have time, that Erik Buell is one of the most personable "big-wigs" you'll ever be lucky to meet. Definitely at the top of MY "friends list". Go for a ride and simmer down. Shit happens, deal with it. Zack |

I think the biggest issue in perception here is, people are used to "Buell" being this big corporation with employees all over the place, a large central staff, and ancillary staff throughout the HD dealer network. Now..."Buell" is....Erik. And a warehouse full of unpacked boxes. He's getting there. It sounds like there's some staff help now, which is good for Erik. I have met him a few times, and know some of his friends, and by all accounts he's the type who will keep going, sans sleep, until whatever-it-is is done. I hope he gets some help...and some sleep If an email or two went unanswered, I'm sure there's a good reason. REASON. Not "excuse". Remember. It's just ONE GUY right now. Personally...I'm dying to get some info on the XB exhaust and ECMs...but it's not life-or-death for me and I know he's slammed, so I'm not stressing over it. And I'm certainly not running my mouth on the internet about something I know nothing about. Next time, *ask* before you spout off. |

Seriously, Julseygirl? Bood are you 12? I believe AOL is still around if you want to go find a chat room to be cool in. Amen Ratbuell, give the guy a chance to get things going. Erik did not force you to not buy the motor on ebay, you made that choice. Obviously patience isn't a strong point for you but try to stay calm, maybe drink some tea or take a warm bath, and another 1125R engine will probably show up. |

Hogz, that rebuilt engine is the companion to the NEW 1125R I took a pass on. Same seller from the same race team. Only one I was interested in was the new engine. Thanks tho'. BTW some young twerp made reference to how long they knew Court. Said it is longer than they been alive. Makes me laugh. I've ridden motors since before you were alive. Got my first in 1962 and driven racers longer than you been alive. I don't put up with bad service or cheap internet BS from the peanut gallery. I do this for fun cause I can. My money walked out the door with me. Bood |

I am as excited about EBR as the next. Yes it's a bit of a disappointment to see the "available" date keep moving the wrong way! BUT I've also contacted Erik via facebook and received a quick and friendly response. Not many CEO's i know would do that. Give Erik a break. Give EBR a minute to get setup. yes i know it's been much longer than a minute, but it's now a very small shop trying to get up and running. Sh!t happens and there will be delays. Be patient. In the meantime - go ride and unwind a bit. I'm not trying to be a prick Bood. I appreciate you've been riding since the 60's. But put it in perspective - was customer service instant then when ordering from across the country? I'm a computer guy, and as guilty as the rest. I like instant gratification. But it's a start-up company and it WILL have the typical growing pains - including some delays. I'll keep checking in on EBR, and when it's warm enough i'll go for a ride and remember why it's worth waiting for. GL! rob |

Rob, don't go injecting common sense into our fun. Busting on the troops makes my day. Yeah, using EBR for our build still is the plan but lack of organization is disturbing. Bood |

Oh Boon, nevermind the fact that 260 has nothing to do with guns, but out of curiosity what is your fascination with calling everyone a girl when they upset you? |

I would assume a man could think of a lot of things, say the number someone had when they raced? Since though you are obviously proclaiming to be the epitome of what it is to be a man then my apologies you have thoroughly proven that a true man does not put a lot of energy into thinking. |

Tibs, we don't race three-number plates. That must be some kind of ant-farm racing. |

Each to his own. Like it was said above, Erik is extremely busy, the holidays were there, there is a huge cold front, snow, etc. rambling across the country, and you are trying to set up a new facility? March and Daytona is not very far away....... I don't know how he is doing it now, with the huge change, and much fewer people. I agree, be patient. I have seen and received notes back from Erik at times of the night, I am wondering if he ever sleeps. check out his facebook page. Both Erik and Court are upstanding guys, and would do anything to help anyone. Email is tough, when you get so many a day. Again, be Patient, be a Buell Enthusiast, and have fun. If you want to gripe at someone, send notes to Honda, Kawasaki for pulling out of AMA racing, and then a note to HD for shutting down our American Sport Bike Company. |

Sorry, motocross, it was a while ago. I was terrible too but it was a blast! Rest assured though if it was ant-farm racing it would have been the girliest ant-farm racing you have ever seen! |

Received from EBR yesterday afternoon at 2:40 PM MT after an inquiry: At the moment we are just barely getting started; this is our first week actually getting things set up in the building and setting up computers and inventory. We do not even have our parts up on our site yet, mainly because of the work that needs to be done to set correct retail/racer prices. As Erik Buell Racing is a new company, we also really have no dealer network, and have not yet set up a structure for margins for dealers. Updated costs from suppliers are not yet been established for EBR, and we are going to be working on that over the next few weeks as we get in the costs. Also, the race parts Buell Motorcycles had were mostly sold to dealers with very small or negative margins, which we cannot do and survive, so we found we cannot work off the old prices without individually checking and verifying. Please bear with us through this transition phase. We will put these items you mentioned high on the list for defining prices etc. Best regards and thanks, Customer Service Erik Buell Racing |
