carb cleaning DOES involve exposure to long-chain hydrocarbons, don't it? |

Let's see. Hydrocarbons = Female Life Forms. Ergo, the assumption posted above is indeed correct!!! |

Frontier Days Festival in Butler Sat, Sun & Mon. Sponsored by the Butler Lions Club. Pork & the Havanna Ducks Saturday night around 7PM. Great biker bands all weekend long. Exit Hwy 45 at Hampton. West to 126th. North to the Festival. Secure bike parking on the lot. Cars on the streets. Had a great time Friday night and it is only going to get better!!! CJ, Thanks for stopping by at Frontier Days. You got their just after mass and before lunch. LOL Actually, the music didn't start till 2:00PM and you missed the crowd by an hour. Oh well, maybe next year. Thanks again for stopping by.

Not a whole lot going on this weekend. Spent most of it working on painting the house, shed, etc. Did manage to ride to Burlington today to see the hydroplane races. Little disappointed as I thought maybe they would have a few of the big boats there just for the hell of it. Instead there was about 100 tiny noisy slow lil boats. Oh well it made for a nice ride, stopped & ate at the new charcoal grill there right on the river..nice place. Then headed out to lake geneva...madhouse as usual out there on a sunday. Put on about 150 miles or so. Its so much warmer once I get away from Lake michigan. I live less than 3 blocks off it & its always a lot cooler than out in the county. Dress for the weather near my hood & then end up sweating like a pig out in the county. I gotta get a Roadking with some bags for hauling shit. |

When the Buell is payed off thats exactly what I'm going to buy.One of three bikes a heritage springer softail classic,Road King,or a Tour Glide. Most likely it would be the Road King great bike, my bro has one barrow ounce in a while. The Buell is almost payed off so hopefully next year. |

The RK's are sweet. You can tour super easy with them. They have real shocks..something the softails are lacking. I dont consider the softails shocks as anything other than words in the sales brochure. Plus the RK's dont look like a full tilt bagger so you can still pretend to be a badass biker if you want The Road glide is just plain weird looking. The fairing is the oddest looking deal. I know folks say they are great to ride & super comfortable, but I still gotta look at it & I cant deal with a goofy looking ride. I also heard somewhere that Harley was discontinuing the Springer lineup. I havent bothered to check that out as fact or not, but its what I heard. |

I like both the RK and RG. Headlight on the RK is really kewl and the RG's fairing is sleek. Only problem for me is learning how to ride all over again as the floorboards and lack of lean angle will probably be my demise. |

Hey all....it's moving time for me. I don't have an address yet (hoping to find a place tomorrow). I'll probably be out of the loop until I get settled. I'll email the BCB gang my new contact info when I know what that will be. Also, I won't be at the next meeting. It's a little too far to travel for the night. I'll try to see about making the Dell's trip at the end of June. Thanks again to everyone!!!! Dennis |

Blastin...Still have the first aid kit from the last ride. Do you want me to drop it off at your house or bring it to the next Brew City meeting? |

Hmmm...wonder why? Then again, my idea of using a first aid kit is to toss it to the wounded and keep on riding. No "Good Samaritan" liability that way. Additionally, Brew City BRAG meetings and functions are neutral ground and there will be no tolerance for confrontations, feuds or whatever (no reference to Char) there. Enough said. |
