I got a cityX rubber tank guard "X" and I've tried three different adhesives. Silicon adhesive (similar to caulk) the e6000 (or 4000) they sell at Tap plastics (which I was told would do the trick), and one other silicon adhesive, that left a bit of residue on my air box cover... Any one know of anything better? Thanks for your suggestions. |

Automotive trim adhesive works great. You can get it at an automotive paint supply store. They will probably have several grades of it, they will be able to tell you which one to use if you tell them what you are trying to do. bringing in the parts for visual aids may help too. Make sure to follow the prep and cure instructions very carefully or you'll have less than perfect results. |

Tap has nylon double sided tape, its expensive but will bond to PP. |
