i've been seeing some comments on 1/4 mi times in some threads so i figured i'd post my time. i made four passes and managed a best of 10.74 at 129.5 with a 1.79 60 ft. my '08 1125r is bone stock with about 180 mi. weather conditions were unreal even for atco, 30.50 bar and 35deg with minimal humidity. now i am about average weight, 210 suited, so it should be a good representation of what these bikes mph stock. my 60' could use some work but the launch is difficult with me being very tall at 6'6". boy is it tough getting back on the pegs. |

the 1125cr should be a little faster in the 1/4 , lower final gearing... Someone here switched their R to the cr gearing and improved their ET, but mph was lower. You'll have to shift to 5th with a cr. |

How do you go through 6 gears with stock gearing? Are you short shifting? |

My wife's British, so I'll convert LBQ's 8.5 stone language to American >> That's right @ 119-120 pounds. Nice runs down the track BTW! Mike |

Yes I cant wait I'm confident for a 9 sec. I'm going to have a 2 step on the bike for the launch. Ive noticed on my 08 1125r the brake when you squeeze feel spongey. I've bleed the brakes there is no air. I just bough an 09 the brakes are more responsive. Do you feel a difference in your R brakes from your cr? |

Sorry to treadjack but I also feel the front brake to be more firm and responsive on the CR than on the R. I tried bleeding the R brakes to get the same feel but it didn't work. Does the CR have different brake parts the the R? |

The 08 09 and 2010 have different part numbers for the master cylinder. I just ordered an 2010 master for my 08. I think this is going to cure the problem. |

my bet time was an 11.1 dont have any of the slips any more for any other info. im about 5ft10 weigh 140. i refuse to go down the track again with out either my front end strapped and or a steering damper. i cant launch, and i cant keep the front down in 1st 2nd or 3rd. and i start to get some nasty wobbles goin on and it scares the hell outta me. if i shift my weight more to the front i cn feel like back tire spin free under me going down the track... any tips? lol |

Bone stock '08, 200lb rider: 10.9 @ 131mph. Almost exactly on par with a buddies '03 R1 on 4500ft density altitude track. |
