The one with a little over 1000 miles was one of two 1125Rs that did an Iron Butt ride by a couple of employees. | ||

I know they're not a sponsor (although I suspect they eventually would have been), but they seem to be a good Buell dealer. They have (had?) one of the "Buell Experience" sections set up right inside the front door. They have also signed up to continue to support Buells. | ||

Do I need to jump on this? Found a dealer not too far away that has a 2008 1125R (1200 miles-their demo bike) with all the upgrades done for $5900. This would be titled as a new bike. Is the price right, or can I offer them some embarrassing amount less than this? DW | ||

This is amending my earlier post to your other post Dragon. If they are taking offers, offer them $5000 and work from there. It's not at all embarrassing as you can show them several dealers selling them for that price. They will counter offer somewhere in the middle. Remember, dealers treat bikes as a commodity. As long as they can make some profit on the bike or get something back they feel they can live with, they could care less if it's a rare bike or a loaf of bread. It's really all the same to them. |
