Any suggestions on how to seperate the intakes? |

Slaughter, For your reading pleasure from the Buell website: "RAM Air System Using computational fluid dynamics to optimize the air flow, the RAM air system pressurizes the air box for a performance gain at speeds over 80 mph." |

I'm not sure why you would need to separate them, there isn't any overlap between the front and rear intake events. |

This is a work in progress, I won't have the bike out till march or april with all this snow. Initial testing in the fall showed the AFV on the front going to 105, while the rear stayed at 100 as usual, this would imply more air entering the front cylinder. This will make your intakes noticably louder, than just no cover. I prefer to have more power at legal speeds, so ram air is on the sidelines for now. I have also added a couple breather filters to the hoses, warning, there needs to be good airflow into the black hose or your bike will not start, use a breather filter. The large filters are from K&N. They make a filter that fits, but the filters push together a little at the top, I do not have the number off hand. Seat of my pants says more power at low speeds. But that is probably biased by my ears.

Thanks. Looks pretty radical. That would be a good look with a clear cover |

That was already in the plans, I need to make a baseplate too to block the engine heat. It really annoys me when people say thats a big gas tank pointing at the air box. |
