if i wasn't wanting to try a scorpion, i'd get it from ya mark. missed out on a good chance to get one. the bmw dealer was having a 50% off sale on "everything" except the bikes(500 off there) they had arai's, shoei's, scorpion's but no large 1000's. oh well, always a day late and a dollar short. good luck with the sale. | ||

Neil, I am also looking for a large 1000, I tried a medium on a few months back, and I couldn't even get my head in, yet every other medium helmet out there fits like a glove! | ||

they had a xl and a medium and i have to have a large. was thinking about getting the xl just because of the price. should have gotten it had i known you were wanting one mark. we got the 900 on back order for the wife. she's needing a new helmet. unfortunately it won't be here until march. new color(kinda like candy apple red) which will go with her scg pretty nice. i'm not in no hurry for it but if i come across a good deal on one i'm getting it. and if i do, i'll be sure to let you guys know. like they say timing is everything. a couple of friends got a really good deal on a couple of the new hjc's 3/4's with the sunscreen. they like em so far. | ||

WRG, I have a turbulent in XL, I needed a large. Actually it is a "Stealth" from AGV if you look closely. Anyway, buy yourself some XL cheekpieces and XL liner from AGV and wear it. (Message edited by cumminspowered on January 04, 2010) | ||

Froggy: I just picked up that one in your first picture last month. Brand new, but no box, so it must have been a display model...$132 on Ebay. It is a medium, which is what I normally wear...and it was tight, but broke in nicely after only a few hours of riding. Good luck on your sale Mark! I'm now shopping for a couple items for the new 1125R. | ||

when i tried the medium on, it was tight on the forehead and the salesman said that's where it wouldn't depress any. how do you like the 1000 so far max. | ||

Neil, I've got a brand new EXO700 Crackhead, Red, size large that I may need to part with. Mom got it for me for Christmas, bought it months ago, and it's a bit too tight and non-returnable (had it too long). I need to get over to Cycle Gear and try on an XL to be sure. Seems like Scorpion may have made some changes to these in the past few years, my black EXO 700 is a few years old and broken in, but the fit is considerably different than the new one. Alex | ||

hey alex, how ya'll doing up there. hope all is well. hoping things turn out good enough to get back up for memorial day weekend. as for the helmet, i really want to try the 1000 because of the drop down sunscreen. glasses just don't get dark enough and don't like to deal with a second pair of sunglasses. i wish my head was either a little bigger or a little smaller cause the cycle shop had the mediuma and the xl on the 1000's and for 150, there's no way i could have passed that up. bike bandit sent me and email saying they got arai's on sale for 379, today only. didn't like the way the arai fits either. the shoei fit great but even passed on that cause of the sunscreen. would have gotten that shoei for like 275 too. just outta curiosity, what would you want for the 700. waiting on a special order 900 for the wife and it's the red. | ||

Neil, Things here are good, perhaps a bit on the chilly side. We had a very hectic holiday, will be posting more about that soon. Definitely hope to meet up at Breedloves again, I'll be there for sure! Assuming I can get a replacement XL for the L I have, I'll probably be asking $125 or so for the 700. I am looking to help offset the price of a new one. This is the helmet, but some of the graphics are red instead of silver. PM me for more info, I feel bad we've highjacked this thread.  | ||

i was kinda hoping it was an all red lid. that's what the wife's will be. it'll go pretty go with the cheery bomb scg of her's. |
