The stadium tour may need to wait until next year. I'd like to be able to give a VIP tour but no time this year especially since you'll want a Sunday tour Definitely plan a group ride for next May or June. I've heard the roads are great up that way. I can't wait to go out and get lost. Hell, the first thing I'm moving are the bikes The rest of my shit can wait. I NEED to be able to ride (i.e. no girlfriend for 2 1/2 months.) |

And then my only question is who's BREW city's assistant Director because it looks like he has some shoe's to fill and you guy's will be in need of a new assistant director Have no idea who it is, but have no fears we have an extremely capable & knowledgable group of folks who can step in at a minutes notice & take charge. MikeJ or Bill would make a great director, CJ or Koz would be good asst directors, etc. Its not that difficult of a volunteer postion to run. I have been involved with HOG for a number of years, planning events, being a Road captain, etc & so long as your chapter has good people willing to help out & you have no problems with delegating authority, the job is a breeze. |

Not me, I ain't paid my dues yet. I think everyone should just move up a spot in the heirarchy. Just make sure whomever is leader knows how to spell heirarcherirery. Could have mob rule like we used to have, worked fairly well too. Ramble, rumble, and grumble until everyone started harmonizing the same tune then declare it a decision and move on to the next order of business. |

Nobody wants to follow someone old enough to be their father, so that leaves me out! Plus, between Rick, Gerry and Jerry, BCB is in great hands. |

Char...Trust me on this one. Football players wear tights to keep the game on national TV. If they wore baggers, they would not be able to break the tackles and end up giving too many "Free Shots" as their Trou falls to the ground. Ergo, the sport would not be fit for prime time TV. Hmmmm...Why is it that me thinks that is what you want to see. Nasty Little Girl!!! |

Dennis...I am beginning to get jealous. You are going to have a whole new part of the State to explore. Make notes and let us know concerning your favorite roads and hang outs. Hmmmm...perhaps a camping weekend for us Southerners. |

Camping weekend for the Southerners has been rumored about already... but not planned yet. There is a huge back lot to my place with a barn that we can burn a nice bonfire near... and plenty of Jap bikes down at the bar next to the lake we could maybe throw on the fire for some added effect (my first choice would be a Goldwing). CJ and Bomber are allowed in the house (for a Bomber sandwich of course...) and the rest of you can camp out behind the barn... and sleep until the espresso is ready on my porch overlooking the lake. Of course anyone is welcome and my best bet would be over the 4th of July weekend considering I have roughly 5 days off and no plans yet... The roads towards Tomahawk (County B) have several panoramic 180 to 270 degree twisties... there also is a large sweeping curve on a glacial morraine (County H?) down near Langlade (known to cause yelping of the surprised blonde riding a Buell)... Something similar to heaven with S curves (County A) north of Rhinelander that borders the Rainbow flowage... I went on this Sunday with a fellow I know up here and was taking the 30 mph turns around 65 when I hit a patch of gravel... Eeeeeeekkkkk... dude finally got the hint to not follow me at 5 feet behind around curves. Saved my Arse by letting off of the throttle... anyhow, I could go on and on and on about the roads up here. The coolest part about it is that the traffic is sparse on the county roads and prime for riding... they are fairly well mantained (sp?) Main problems are damn ATVs that go from bar to bar (occupying about the same place on the food chain as the drinkin snowmobilers)... and the deer. Saw one (a doe) on the way to work today. Sight them 6 to 10 at a time sometimes. Also... it is all forests and lakes so there are plenty of good swimming holes and places to camp and to fish when it gets hot up here.... Ok enough. Off to Mad City in a little while to partake in some rebel rousing... hoping to catch up with a buddy tonight before he takes off for the great West on his Panhead. Have a great Memorial Day Weekend..... Charlotte PS Lake: if you want to talk to Kersten Hopkins about DOCS BRAG she should be around this weekend at the shop: DOCS ZOO |

Char...Now that sounds like a good plan. I have a number of poker stops to get in between Shawano and Mercer and a night or so behind your barn would be just the ticket. Especially, when you toss in the "Expresso with a View." Am just having a hard time developing a mental pic of a "Bomber Sandwich" without spraying coffee all over my computer. |
