I have a 08 1125r and im looking to do some upgrades. I've seen were people have taken their stock pipes and mod them. Do you think this would help or hurt the bike?

I would be worried about that obstructing the flow and increasing back pressure. It seems like it would be a cheap and easy modification, but I would like to see dyno runs to see how it affects performance and fueling.

I haven't seen that in a long time ... Too funny! I lived in the East Bay (Pleasanton, CA) when this short-lived whistle fad took off in nearby Oakland. It was unreal - Still makes me laugh that people thought that was cool. Thanks for posting - I needed that!
