I gave myself a Christmas present of a 1992 RS1200 and now will be working up my Christmas list for next year and posting here as I go! For starters it obviously needs a new taillight lens. I haven't even begun to dig into it yet so I'm sure there will be other needs, but I'll start working on good parts sources with this post. I'd also love to get my hands on factory service and parts manuals for it so I can do repair work per the mother ship. Any/all help appreciated. |

Pretty sure the lens is the same as a S2 if that helps? |

The lens (and rest of the taillight) were used on Buell's from the RR1000 up to the 2002 S3's. It should be pretty easy to find what you are looking for, but if you don't have any luck PM me and I will see what I got when I get back to NC. Merry Christmas from East Troy, 1313 |

Re; Fitment to S2+: Good info. Thanks. It'll help the quest. FYI: I don't think the PM system here is 100% operational yet. It was experiencing problems a few days ago. |

Get in touch with Court about the manuals. They were available through Buell before the shutdown... |

Good news is that I have you covered . . . . The bad news is that I just read what an I am and that I never do anything for Buell owners. Sucks to be me. You will find there is MUCH support for the RS-1200. |

It'll be no problem . . . patience is all I ask. I'll get the manuals off to you. All I ask is a set of high res pics and any history you have of the bike. Probably a stupid question . . . but do you need an owners manual as well? By the way , , , , if you find any errors . . . take it up with 1313 and Dave Gess.

Patience is not a problem. MY patient can wait. Re: Owners manual: All I have is the bike...and one of the snap-on key cases. I'll PM pix of the bike as I got it from the seller. The title shows the prior owner (before my seller, a dealer) if that helps. PLEASE tell me the flames weren't factory issue. |

Bikes have left Buell with a variety of things including a Peter Max paint job . . . Never flames that I am aware of. I'll try to get everything together soon. After next week I'm gone for a while. You'll love the bike. I had one for a daily rider 20 years ago. |
