I'm back in Naples for a couple weeks. My M2Ls been stored since june and though the battery was up it wouldn't start. Tried fresh gas, still wouldn't start. Opening up the carb, I found green deposits in the float bowl, etc... Never seen that color before. After a thorough carb cleanout the bike now starts and the engine runs fine... The tranny is another matter though! I'll be heading back to Minnesota in a few days and may be back in a few weeks or may not be back 'til november. What can I do to keep the green goo from taking over my carb again? |

I think it's the Ethanol. If you turn off the fuel and let the bike idle it will run the gas out of the carb. I do this if I'm not gonna ride for a while. PM sent |
