Ok, just went on a ride this weekend and it was awesome. just finished the cg tail conversion on my firebolt and i love it. When i got back from my ride i noticed there was some oil pooling near the fan. I looked everywhere and i cant figure out where it is coming from. The oil looks very clean but I recently did an oil change so that may be why. Anyways, if anyone has had this problem or knows whats going on let me know. I'm trying to stay away from the stealership as long as possible. |

Usually, its the rear rocker gasket. Pull off the airbox cover, and the entire airbox assembly and get a good look at the rear jug. Pull off your seat too, you might be able to see something through that space in the frame. If it is the gasket, the easiest way to fix it is to rotate the engine down. |
