"Thanks, I saw your other post about the bag also. Tourtech makes one too. Do you know of anyone that may have the tourtech bag and it's quality." I have the tourtech under seat storage bag, it is heavy duty and I haven't had any problems with the zipper. I keep a few tools, the owners manual, a small compressor, tire repair kit it it. It was a little more spendy but I try to buy quality more than trying to save a few bucks.} |

The backordered ETS is not good news for me. My bike has been in the shop trying to locate a not running when warm problem since OCT. 16th. Buell finally gave them the go ahead to replace anything they needed about 4 weeks ago. They ordered a throttle body, coils, plug wires, piston, rings and cylinders, ecm and a few other things. The dealer called me yesterday and told me everything was in except the ETS. I wonder if my bike will be back before spring. I have made 3 bike payments and 3 ins payments while my bike has been at the dealer. Yes I am pissed and Customer service has not been any help! The funny thing is, that IF, the bike is fixed after this shotgun approach they will have no idea what solved the problem. Not that I care. Sorry for the rant but I feel nobody is listening. I missed the best riding weather Las Vegas has to offer! |

Don't know what good it does for the motor company to state that they will continue to support the bikes if there are no parts available... |

Broke the belt on my 06 Uly in mid-Nov 09. I ride near year-round, so I ordered a belt, which was superseded, then B/O to Dec. 04, then 08, then 16, then... Last was Jan 06 2010, but Ourdee just posted 01/10, so it's probably changed again... I love my Buells, and I'm partial to "buying American". After all this crap, my next American bike will be a Victory, not any kind of H-D. Here's hoping Victory does their rumored "streetfighter", so I've got a choice beyond cruisers. This blows... |

I wonder how many belts were ordered post 10/15 compared to average sales of same. The rank and file may have "cleaned out the pipeline" thoroughly. |

Polaris needs to make a ULY type bike. Cruisers are heavy pigs. I'll buy Harley if I'm going to buy a cruiser type bike, but I'm permanently out of the cruiser thing except for my 97' Electraglid Classic if that's considered a cruiser. I wrote cruiser 5 times. |

when buell discontinued the tubers, the support went down like the titanic... i hope this will be different.. im getting rid of my beemer r1200r this month and will leave me with just the uly...as far as a replacement, dealer availability will be of great importance... it looks like another harley may be in my future... i swore id never do it again, but then they have the market cornered on dealer support.. |

Latest update on my Uly belt or lack there of. There are three dealerships in the US that have a belt for the Uly. They are in Alaska, NJ, and Penn. The new belt number is G0500.1AKF. There are 121 of these belts on back order at present. I could not find out how many or what size batch was being shipped from the belt supplier. The B/O clear date is supposed to be the 10th. |

121 belts? Yep, that is everyone and their mother trying to hoard them. |

I wonder if it could also be related to average mileage on all Buells using this belt. If we are all in the 20-30k range on 06 models, is it possible the belts just wore out at the same time? I for one need a belt for my Uly, no hoarding involved. |

I tried to order a belt on back order tried to order a new 2010 rim on back order here is what Al say at american sort bike ...I don’t. The belt has been on back order from Buell for a very long time, and I have three separate orders that are unfulfilled. I did, however, call HD about this yesterday, and it appears that the F revision belt that has been on back order from Buell with no release date given now has a release date of 1/6/10. |

Let's hope! I'm still hoping that the parts shortage is the result of mass purchasing after Oct. 15 but as time passes it isn't looking good. |

How many people are waiting on a backordered part that makes their bike unrideable? A quick read on this thread and i see only Rarebird(not to be unsympathetic to your plight) that is off the road. Ourdee is limping, are all the other backorders for spare parts? Just wondering, Bob |

Well my drive belt is not broken but does have a sizeable crack across it. I can ride it but have less confidence in it then a belt with no crack. I ordered a new belt on 9 Nov from Chicago HD. Probably should have went to American Sport Bike as they have them in stock. |
