Many of you have been asking about Buell posters and I have stumbled upon the coolest of the cool. As you can see it consolidates information from:
- PITTSBURGH PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS
- BUELL MOTOR COMPANY
- BUELL MOTORCYCLE COMPANY
as well as a historical retrospective of Buell logos over the years. . . . . everything from 1983 through October 15th, 2009 with up to date production numbers. Here's a VERY LOW RESOLUTION sample: Rather than trying to send these out to folks what I am going to do is to find a place (hopefully Blake & Co. can do it right here) where folks can download the poster. The 18" x 24" is a 8.8mb file. The 24" x 36" is a 14.5mb file. Small Poster Large Poster They are both incredibly detailed and very professional. You can download the poster file here and take to any FedEx office and have a FULL SIZE high quality poster printed. FedEx charges are . . . working from memory here . . I'm already carving out 6 SF of wall space. . . . . By the way . . . . I can take NO CREDIT for this. This was done by some of the best of the best and when you see the high resolution version . . . you'll get a sense for the quality. The two versions are not the same as the larger one was arranged a bit differently to make things more legible . . there is a LOT of information that was just collected to put this together. Merry Christmas from an anonymous, and VERY TALENTED, "Guru of Graphics". Court P.S. - not sure if this will work but here is a simple screen shot from the high res. . . Edit: Added links to the posters (Message edited by Froggy on December 27, 2009) |

VERY NICE!!! I've heard about it, but now I've finally 'seen' it. I, too, will have to make space for them but that is a minor point - a very minor point at that. I'm sure with the resources on this board that someone will figure out how to make this happen! WOW! 1313 |

Any chance you could upload the older versions of that poster? I have a low res version of the "Silver Collection" and it would be nice to have the progression. |

Easy enough. If Blake doesn't want to host it, I can scare up some bandwidth in a few places.. |

I'll keep an eye on this space for more info. How about the mirror image 25th Anny poster and the transparent one that has been mentioned. I'd be willing to pay a couple of bucks for each download to help cover the cost of the bandwidth if need be. |

Something I found out. If your place has an onsite Xerox contract, it may be available to do this for you. Some places are straightforward service contracts and not accountable to the company for "gov't projects". Some work can get done under the umbrella of Xerox staff sitting around bored and doing nothing else at the time. |

I can host files 10MB or less on our club's site. Let me know via pm if you want us to host the smaller version for download. (Message edited by socalbuellriders on December 24, 2009) |

Court, I am pretty sure the files can be hosted on here. The PM system is down, but I got one of your email addresses so I will drop you a note there. |

Only 5,836 1125R's? Really? I thought there would have been more. Any more news on when/where the files will be available? cheers, chili |

Wow, fantastic and as soon as there is a site to download from, I'm there. The only improvement would have been to use a white w/blue 1125r -- the best and fastest. |
