Bought a black '09 1125R at Shelton's HD in Durham, N.C. on Black Friday. Bike was ridden by the regional Buell rep and had 1137 miles on it (now at 1598). The staff at Shelton's is a top-notch group. I'm going to have to be careful here - you guys have too many good ideas that I'd like to apply to my bike but my wife's good will won't allow my wallet to support |

Tony Stefanelli, Abe Askenazi, and I all picked up Ulys from a dealer who bought them from the used Buell COV (company owned vehicle) auction. Tony also got a very rare 2010 1125R and an 2010 XB9SX, completing his collection of Buells where he led the design team. |

I picked up an black 08 in Nov when I took my Softail in for service. It had the fairings on it already. Guy was like yeah man we have to move this crap out of here. He said he would take $6100 and I offered my 04 FXST. I left on the 1125R and handed back my Softail to Willy G. I love this ride! |

Mike, Thanks for the kind words. I did think the bike would look nice against the white backdrop. However, my photo skills don't do the bike justice at all, it is really a sharp looking bike in person! As for the waiting to ride, you're right, I can deal with it! Jason |

Add me to the list as well. I picked up my red 09 1125R at Abernathy HD in Union City, TN. They had 4 1125r's when I purchased mine (2 red, 1 black, and 1 white...all '09) and by the time I picked mine up a week later, they were all sold. It was a rough day driving 6 hours each way, but the day after I enjoyed every freezing minute riding my first sport bike! SWEET! Allan |

My '08 1125R showed up on Wednesday. I ordered it from Ukes Buell in Kenosha, WI. That dealership is about 400 miles from me. I was going to drive up and trailer the bike back, but I got a shipping quote of just $128, with the dealership charging $100 to load the bike onto an enclosed palette. I figured $230 to have the bike shipped was too good of a deal to pass up, considering that it would have cost me about $130 in gas alone, plus an entire day on the road, plus probably a speeding ticket 'cause I'd run out of patience after about an hour and start going 80 or more. I bought the bike sight unseen, because the price was so good. The dealership told me that the bike had under 100 miles on it and that it was being sold as used. The warranty supposedly started in October 2009 and was good until October 2011. The paperwork I received, however, stated that the warranty started on 12/15/09. The bike also came with a certificate of origin, not a title, so I suspect that it actually IS being sold as new. That would be sweet, because I'd be able to deduct the sales tax when I file my income taxes this year. www.irs.gov/recovery The bike arrived on the 23rd. True to the dealership's word, the bike looked virgin--not a scratch on it unlike some of the demo bikes I'd seen. Even better, it only had 28 miles on it--at most a handful of test rides. On to the best part. After shipping, a crating fee, the 3% surcharge for paying with a credit card, the doc fee, the palettizing fee, tax, title and license, my total cost for the bike is about $5300. Really. The actual initial price of the bike, before all of the fees, was $4350. Unfortunately, that was the only bike Ukes had at that price point. They do (or did, a couple weeks ago) have some new '09s for around $6500-$7000, if memory serves. I took down some notes when shopping around and can check them if anyone is interested.
