Bad Idea! On an impact It will brake right out and take a chunk of the swing arm with it. that area is way too thin. I'm on my second swing arm. |

I would rather weld some on the swingarm.I had a feeling that someone would have that happen.Do you have a pic of that swingarm? |

Hm. So what if you had it drilled but kept the spindles OFF the bike until ready to lift? Would having to bolt the spindles on the spot every time be worth not having to F around with the other kind of stand? |

While I can't see the picture...I did drill my XB swing arm. It's double walled...or a box in the area I drilled. I would never drill the 1125's swing arm...even if it were formed sheet like the Japanese arms and single sided. As another said...weld a spud to the bottom, drill and tap. Mike |

I would keep am extra swing arm as back up in case of a spill. That area (actually the whole thing) does not lend its self to drilling. |

Use the spools to lift, put an axle slider on to protect stuff. Keith(Skully) at Dark Horse Moto is working up a system with spools and sliders that will keep the force on the slider and off the lifting spools. I like the spools, but have adapted my old Firebolt rear lift to work on the 11. Zack |

Exactly as zac said. I have my own axle sliders that I use. They protrude farther then the bobbin. It is used exclusivly for lifting. I agree I would not trust then for crash protection. |
