Ok did the search look and couldn't find what I need. Does anyone know this service campaign 08v554000? It is the one about the shift seizing. My question is does someone on here know what vins are in that list? Not sure if mine is in there. It was built June of 2008. Any help would ease my mind. |

It's bikes built through May 08 so you should be good. Wouldn't hurt to have a dealer run the VIN just to be safe. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/384 2/B075.pdf |

Will try and call another dealer not sure if the dealer just didn't want to do the work. They did the brake line recall though and the sticker has already come off. Will that effect anything? |

If you have a June build the recall should not apply to you. If a dealer ran your VIN and the recall applied, they are required by law to do the work. They also get paid by HD for the work. Bottom line, they would have no motivation to tell you anything other than the truth. |
