Hey it's me again.... I might not have an issue but after reading and seeing people get about 60 MPG on there Blasts...I get about 30ish MPG and have to switch to res. at about 65ish. When I go to fill her up it takes a little over 2Gal to fill so that seems right. I guess my question is the 60MPG on the freeway and not in city or do I have an issue?? I have the EZ style air intake and pro series exhaust and the carb is jetted to 48/175 and fuel/air is two and 1/2 turns out. Other then that the bike runs damn good,Do I just have a heavy throttle hand?(I have the same problem with my right foot as well...) I have not checked my breather but it seems its not a tank problem as it takes over 2Gal every fill up... Thoughts or am I being stupid :P |

I have a Thumpe intake. Carb jetted 45/175. Jardine RT1 exhaust. I get around 55MPG in mixed city/hiway riding. I weigh c200Lbs and am not noted for the delicacy of my throttle work. I use 93 Octane gas. I don't know why your mileage is lower than mine. I just thought my "stats" could be used as a comparison to yours. Merry XMas, Chris C |

Opps I meant I am 45/175...dont know why I typed 48... so I am about right then huh? I do think the last fill up has the lovely 10% mix so I will look for a different station |
