Buddy just called me from the sale and said that there was a wrecked red 2008 1125R with red wheels for auction. Anyone ever see a red 08 I thought the only came in Black. The build date in dec.07.

I believe ALL '08 1125R wheels were diamond blue only (like the frames & swingarms).

Jason- IIRC, I saw one custom-painted like that for sale at Thundertower HD/Buell in Elgin, SC (~20 miles east of Columbia on I-20) a couple of years ago. I wonder if it's not the same bike?

Maybe so. I was thinking of telling him to buy it for the motor and wheels but the red 08 made me leary.

Yep it was only available in 08 as Black with Diamond Blue frame and wheels. My 06 Lightning was sunset orange when I bought it, and I changed everything out to make it the only Hero Blue Ulysses. Wasn't hard to do. Confused the cop that pulled me over once though....
