Hey, Maybe it's been stated here before ... but, I was wondering if anyone can confirm how long HD is pledged to offer the Rebates for Buell Motorcycle sales? I thought the cut off date was around Dec 20th for the rebates. Obviously, I'd think, dealers would make a push to sell off remaining bike inventory while the rebates are still in place ... so the Rebate cut off date would be important to know. Who knows? My guess is until they're gone. If the rebates are eliminated, the used market will get flooded again. And, new sales will practically stop. | ||

I would "guess" the end of the year. According to the "Where is your bike?" thread, there are 1400+ Buells out there in the USA. I know one of the Buells it says WE have is the Sales Manager's new bike. I'll see if anyone has a definitive answer tomorrow. Z | ||

I dunno, because my dealer still has a few but they're tucked away, and there is no longer a display for them. I should ask what type of marketing are they using where you hide the product from potential buyers? Even the Buell swag is off the racks stashed behind the "employee's only section". I was talking to a dealer yesterday and I'm pretty sure he said something about the rebates ending in Feb. | ||

I asked my local dealer how long the rebates would be in effect ... and the salesman said: "until they are all sold". That can't be right ... after all, if there is was no deadline on rebates, there would be no urgency to move the remaining inventory ... I figured someone on here would know when they expire ... Zac, any word? Court? | ||

Like Wera said, it is a ways off. I couldnt find the memo either but I do know it was later in 2010 | ||

The only way they are paid the incentive, in arrears, is if they signed the transition agreement vowing to support Buell service and parts for 7 years. |
