Just purchased some heated grips, and was looking over the installation instructions. I noticed the left hand grip is only held on with 2 little self tapping screws, and no griplock/adhesive is mentioned anywhere. Is this right? Are the just assuming you'll use some grip lock or will the 2 screws be enough? | ||

The 2 screws are enough. Don't use any glue. | ||

The two screws have worked for 2 years now on my XB and Ulysses. Going to put them on my Blast next!  Nice thing about the screws, its not a permanent installation, so should you switch bars or damage them or want to take them off a salvage bike... (Message edited by froggy on December 17, 2009) | ||

The 2 screws also don't heat up / get gooey with the heat put out by the grip like glue would. Put it on dry. |
