F=ma....what fiendish formula is this RAY? Something to make a Triumph faster? Quicker? Funner?
Whats up in the neighborhood this weekend?
BOB, I saw your former X-1 today. Was nice, clean and shiney. Heading across the bridge toward the penninsula. Such a great blue...if I don't read from anyone I may be forced to use the phone.

Bob I sure hope that you can make it down. Chris and I are planning on going out and watching Code Red race tomorrow also. Sure wish I could of had the time to get those t-shirts made. Working 10 hour days 6 days a week just leaves no time to get extra things done. Glad to hear that you all had fun in Cali.

If anyone else does not have anything planned for Sunday come on out to PIR and cheer Cody on!

I’ve got just over 10,000 miles on my not as new as it used to be bike and it hasn’t been in the back of my pickup truck since the day I bought it. Not to drag it home from where it died, not to take it to the shop to make it run right, not for a new shock, not to have something welded back together, not to see why the engine is spitting oil from places it shouldn’t or why the turn signals don’t work in the rain, not for nuthin’! I wish I could say that about all the bikes I’ve owned in the last three years.

On the other hand, there’s a guy down the street with an Orange M-2 and I still slobber on myself when I hear him go by. There is also a silver Ducati Monster somewhere in the neighborhood and he sounds pretty good too. Come to think about it, I get all happy when I hear Lyle’s Speed Triple go by. Maybe I just like cylinder challenged motor bikes. Three really is a very weird number though.

What a great Mother's Day! Chris took me to breakfast and then to see Code Red race his pocket bike out at PIR today. What a racer he is! Someday we will see this young guy joining the big guys guaranteed. You were great Cody! The weather was even great! It was nice seeing everyone to. Deb we missed you! Bob how was your ride home? Did everything go OK?

I hope that all you Mothers had as great of a day as I did!

Hello All!
I apologize for being so scarce these past few months. Lately I"ve been getting the Liseron ready for the summer season in Alaska. Next Sunday we head north until our return in September. Although I will be at my favorite place in the world, my heart and mind will be on my friends as they have a wonderful riding season. Everyone be safe!

Take care.....

Bob- Cody and I are headed to McMinnville Sunday as we were invited to run a lunch time exhibition for the Portland Carting Association. This track is brand new and has a 700' front strait. I was told we should easily reach 60mph. When I told Kim she didn't seem too excited, so I geared the dream machine to go 52mph at 11,000 rpm.. I might need to talk to you about some fab work for a steering dampner if we continue using bigger tracks.
We practiced yesterday at Damascus to get some road work in for Cody. I can't wait to see his reaction when he see's a 3/4 mile track for the first time. Hey it might be only 1/2 mile bigger than any track he has ridden, but at 7 years old it must seem huge. Mike

Hi Mike: Did you see this photo that Jim_witt posted on another thread? I love the pink Duct Tape on her shoe. And then Blake said the funniest thing I've read in years: "When your head is bigger than the front wheel, is it time to advance in class?"

Ray that is cool. In Japan and Europe pocket bike racing is a big deal. I guess for that matter all of motorcycle racing is bigger on the other side of the pond. I hope before the end of Cody's season he gets a chance to run against racers his own age. Mike

Hey Mike, do you have directions to the track on Sunday? If it looks like good weather I may just balze on down on the bike again. (This is addictive)

Bob- Take I-5 South, take the Tualatin Valley/ Sherwood Rd. exit and turn right. Go left onto Hwy 99 and head towards McMinnville. Just as you enter town there will be an old mill, go past and turn left at the first light. Kart track is 1/4 mile off of hwy99. I'm leaving Sunday by 7am. We will get only a couple laps in the morning then 30 minutes at there lunch break at noon. At 2:30 we should get 15 minutes when they reset there track for the finals. Bike is ready and I hope Cody is up to the task of going way faster then he is used to. Mike

Bob, cheer Code Red on for me OK.

Shotgun, sure would like to make it tomorrow! Chris says he might be there depending on the weather. Looks like I won't be making any long rides until SPLASH. Saw the doc yesterday and after June 14th I can do anything I want with this hand of mine. But he also reminded me that the pain level is going to set my pace. Getting the movement back is painful. We have a weeks vacation comming up so I hope to take my bike and make small day trips and build my tolerance level. Just might make the all girls ride in late June! See you Tues at the Silverdollar.

To everyone who is riding tomorrow, be safe, have fun and enjoy!

Here's a scenic shots; easy on the eyes:
XB9S scenic rest stop
The XB9S is breaking in nicely, now with 1600 miles on it. Smoothing out as it goes.
