To run at the same pace or faster with an '06 Gixxer Thou is no small feat. Mine with the HPE and my own ECU tweaks is slightly faster than an '03 R1 - but thats about 20hp short of what an '06 Gixxer Thou puts out. Maybe there is more potential locked in the fueling - maybe not. |

Mine does run REAL strong! I have not had the opportunity like Jake to run with any of the "big dogs". Dris had shown in his dyno charts how proper fueling can unleash the potential of the Helicon engine with the Torque Hammer exhaust. I'm hoping for a little warm weather so I can play and get some dyno runs in. Like I have mentioned b4, my stock ECM with the latest flash runs pretty darn good with the TH. It does run MUCH stronger with Dris' mapping but, MPG does suffer some. Can GSD get you the mapping from Dris? Maybe that's an alternative. Time2Run Neil S. |

Just reading up on the posts about how fast these TM Torque hammer exhausts plus custom tunes are.... sheesh. I am just about floored. For kicks, I youtube'd Joe's (littlebutquick) latest video, saw that his trap speed with the TM combo was 137mph! That is definately GSXR1000 territory. I checked out a few more youtube vids, one "08 Suzuki GSX-R1000 Drag Race" showed an 08 model running the 1/4 mile at claimed 145mph on his time slip. That's on an '08... an '06 might not be as fast. Darn impressive, I must say. I think most stock bikes are running in the low-mid 120's right? To gain 10-15mph in the 1/4 mile is a substantial power increase. Dris, any news on the group buy/discounted Torque Hammer deal? |

Today was my first commute day with the latest map revision. I ended up with 4.2gal at 135 miles. Getting better but not quite where the stock ECM was. Before I ask for any more changes I need to get some more runs in. A little change in ambient temp can mask the map revisions so I can't can't make an apples to apples comparison. Thanks Dris for your hard work! Neil S. |

What does this "tweak" affect, is it just an adjustment to the closed loop settings? What does it take to adjust your map to these new parameters since I have one of your ECM's already. Brett |

If you love South Texas come on down to South Padre Island and look me up! Lost of warm weather here. The only bad part is no curvy roads. |

Froggy: You sure are lucky that it's dry out, especially with that BALD back tire! The temp really doesn't bother me with my Gerbing gear. I remember one time on my X3 riding on a 25F morning with frost around. I passed over a bridge over a creek. Yep it was still frost covered. At 70mph, that rear tire spun up REAL quick. I was able to reduce my throttle just b4 I passed over the bridge. That morning the pucker factor was WAAAAY high! Considering the few weeks that I can't readily ride here in middle TN, I won't trade the roads and the weather the other weeks of the year. Later Neil S. |

That was Saturday afternoon, it snowed Saturday night and Sunday morning, and the roads are still slick. Ulynut bit it twice in a mile from his house, somehow I made it to work with only one pucker moment. I would take another picture, but it hasn't been as cold so it wouldn't have the same effect. Starting Xmas day I got just over a week off, I am thinking of hopping on my 1125R as its my only bike with good tires, and then hit up Suches and stop by Bumpus |

I think most stock bikes are running in the low-mid 120's right? To gain 10-15mph in the 1/4 mile is a substantial power increase. Well if i could run 137mph in a quarter mile that would be great but im at 10.52 134.5.But again I wiegh 175lbs unlike littlebutquicks 120lbs.So thats about right drop 55 lbs and gain about 3 mph.I run the O s b tune and a stock muffler/bike.So in my eyes its not really impressive.Just my findings not bashing anyone. But wieght does matter on any bike dragracing. |

I ran something like 128mph in the 1/4 and I weigh in at roughly 175... more like 185-190lbs with gear. I think most are running in the 125-129 range. Running 137 is quite a gain from a slip-on and tuning. |

Drop 50lbs and you'll drop 3 tenths. My 120lb buddy runs gxsr 750 and he runs 10.20s the owner of same bike before him wieghs 180. he ran high 10.50s.I give props to his timeslips but wieght has alot to do with it. Not the tune or slipon. Hell a stock muffler and a tune has proven to make the same power as a jardine with a tune.I believe slipons do little to nothing for these bikes except drop wieght and put a hole in your pants. |
