snip from ad. *If you find yourself running over HD executives, this headlight grille should protect you from their thick skulls. This grille guard is in very good used condition. Has killed bugs from East Troy to Daytona and back.*

can somebody post the whole answer up? I don't have an eBay account, and can't read the whole thing. (Message edited by delta_one on December 13, 2009) |

New Jersey bugs should be no problem for this grille. The only way a bug from NJ could even scratch this grille is if the bug was wearing a 3 wolf moon t-shirt and had also just drank some Tuscan Whole Milk, 1 gal, 128 fl. oz. Now... if said bug had just landed on the forehead of H-D executive, was wearing a 3 wolf moon t-shirt and just drank Tuscan Whole Milk, 1 gal, 128 fl. oz and you hit this abomination at highway speed.... well.... I just can't guarantee that your headlight would be safe. But the likelihood of a NJ bug wearing a 3 wolf moon t-shirt that had just drank Tuscan Whole Milk, 1 gal, 128 fl. oz., sitting on the forehead of a H-D executive is pretty slim..... I'm not saying that it couldn't happen and now that I have said it.... you had better be on the lookout for that H-D executive wondering around like a zombie... they kind a moan "can not make progress"... "must live in the past"... "Kill the Buell". If you see or hear one of these creatures from depths of Dumbassville... you better get yourself a 3 wolf moon t-shirt and drink some Tuscan Whole Milk, 1 gal, 128 fl. oz. and then plunge this headlight grille deep into brain. Once you have stabbed it in the head its not over. There is only a couple of brain cells in there so you need to stab the headlight grille in and out like a hacksaw to make sure you kill the last couple of brain cells that are left. I hope this helps you in your decision to bid on my headlight grille. I also hope that you will be able to sleep knowing what possible danger may await you. I wish you luck. Wheelie when you can! BUELL FOREVER FOREVER BUELL!! |

Grill received, thanks man! I was wondering if that link made it to a Buell forum, lol. I should electrify this sucker, really watch the bugs sparkle. |

Thanks. I'm hoping to mount the grill and go hit some NJ bugs soon. I forgot to bring it home from work. I'm hoping the first thing I hit drops one of those super mario mushrooms to make my bike a little bigger. It's still a hair small for my 6'7" self. 25 F and snowing since the day it arrived off the trailer. Took it out twice, but it was freezing. Not sure I'd do that to myself again without winter gear. I'm good into the 30's, but 20's....ouch. Can't buy winter gloves yet, either...as I'm told Santa may have bought them =P Cool board. A nice alternative to work. |
