Hey, this is Tom from Fletchers Harley Davidson/Buell in Clearwater, Florida. We are a new sponsor here. But I can't find our banner on the sponsor page. I am a long time Buell-nut. I bought my first buell 1995 and have owned them(7 total) since. I understand, since reading this board, yes, I am a FAG....Ha (Message edited by tachout on November 19, 2009) |

Hello from SW Missouri! I bought a Red 2009 Buell CR1125 a few weeks ago, my first Buell, so I thought I'd join the forum. I also have a 2005 Harley Sportster Roadster, 2010 Triumph scrambler and a 2009 Yamaha T-Max. First streetbike in 1962 and 65 others to date. This CR hauls butt! Take care! Sam |

Hi all, I'm Mike from Herndon, VA. My first Buell was a 2004 XB12R 'Bolt. Great bike Presently riding a 2008 1125R and a 1975 CB550 rigid chopper that I built last winter. I'll always be a Bueller as long as there are Buell bikes around to be had. |

Hey folks! New chick here from Ogden, Utah! I'm picking up my new '09 1125R just after New Years! It'll be my second Buell. I had a '99 S3T for several years, but I traded it in on a HD VROD. When HD closed Buell (argh!) and when word of the ridiculous prices got out, I had to get another one. I know the value of forums like this and I look forward to getting to know some of you and maybe even carving up a canyon or two with some of you! -Kerri |

I'm 66,riding many bikes since 12,owned 3 hd,but no more hd for me.Inow have an hd , Buellxb9s , and Honda nighthawk.I can actually believe hd would drop a great bike like Buell.I have never been impressed with hd's business sense. Buell is the best bike I've had, great MPG,surperb handling, comfort(once I replaced the stock seat),fast enough for me.To hd's credit,hd has looks, sound and ego and that's it.What a crappy history. Jap bikes put them to shame in all other areas years ago. Thanks to Erik Buell, he GREATLY improved the sportster motor and trans. and made a superb bike. Shame on hd's STUPIDITY and shame on Erick for getting in bed with hd. Erick, hd is like the USgov't,stay away from them, they are not here to help you.Iwish for your sucess, you make a fine bike and actually refine it unlike hd. You are not allowed anymore mistakes,so please get back to building good dependable bikes and run from hd, as you know they truly S--K.This is my 1st post and I assume you read this stuff.Since I've had my buell,I've toured more on it than the hd or Honda.Your street bike makes a great tourer and that says a lot coming from an oldster with bad knees and other stuff. ( a hint) get rid of the stock seat and call Rick Mayer. BUELL is my drug of choice, I'm addicted. |

It's me again, I'd like to thank John at John's V Twin in Savannah Georgia for insisting I ride a Buell that was in his shop,as I was on my way to buy a Suzuki V-Strom.After 15 min. on the Buell,I had to have it,and I did. Thanks to him for putting me onto this website. Too bad all the hd dealers can't run a business like John does, he's honest and no BS,never led me wrong on any of my bikes. He also is addicted to his Buell, tho he rides an hd too. Long live Buell. |

Hi from Lakeside California! The plan is before Christmas I will have a XB12R in my garage. My Kawasaki ZRX1200R is up for sale and when that goes the Buell comes. The Buell will be my 4th bike starting with a 99 Suzuki SV650, 02 Kawasaki ZRX1200R and a 07 Triumph Thruxton 900 (wrecked). I'm a U.S. Navy Chief and also a MSF Rider Coach and when I'm not out to sea I'm riding SOCAL roads. R/ Vanson |

Welcome Tony! My sister lived in Morrill, Maine (near Belfast) for many years. I had a lot of fun in Maine. It is beautiful there. I hope your winter is relatively short, as I am sure you are chomping at the bit to get out and ride. |

Thanks Toecutter, I am just a stones throw from Belfast about 18 miles from Bucksport. Morril Maine is a nice area (QUIET). The winter is not going to bad actually other parts of the country have gotten more snow than us up here in the sticks. I am looking for the Spring ride it should be interesting on the Buell. |

To whom it may concern, I'm the proud new owner of a used 2005 Buell xb12scg bike and I love it! Unfortunately someone stole the plastics off my bike several weekends ago and I'm trying to replace the plastics with Kick ash grey parts. I have tried to register and log-in to the badweather bikers site but I never receive the activation key to my email. I did see that Toona has some plastics available in the parts for sale section and I'm interested if the parts will fir my bike. I have spoken with the dealers and some say that the air box cover and windscreen do interchange. Any help would greatly be appreciated. I certainly want to come back and visit this site forum as I've been an avid motorcycle enthusiast for over 27 years. thanks to all for your help and consideration, ronstopbl |

It's been a long time at Buell, 12 years to be exact, working directly for Erik and being one of the main lead designers for everything from the Blast to the 1125RR race bike. I've been watching you all for years and have come to view everyone here as part of the same family. Now, the chains have been removed and I will continue to watch, with one difference. I now feel obliged to add my 2 cents worth. So ready or not, here I come............... Special note to Court Canfield: It was an honor to meet you during Erik's concert at the Dry Dock bar in Antioch this fall. Hopefully we shall meet again and have more time to share stories (and we both have many). |

To all those new to Buell ownership - welcome to the madness! To those who've owned Buells before but are new to BadWeb, I'm sure you'll soon fit in comfortably among the Buell crazies, I mean enthusiasts, here Have a look around, don't be afraid to ask questions or introduce yourselves in the various sections, and make sure you check the 2010 Homecoming threads Technobuell - Thank you. I'm not a custodian or anything, but I'm sure I speak for many in saying we look forward to hearing your 2 cents cheers, chili |
