Did my S3T come with one? The bikes doesn't have one and the owners manual doesn't mention any. A search here wasn't real conclusive... |

Tubers did not come with an OE tool kit. The XB's were the first Buells to have them. |

Cool - I'll just pick up some cheap chinese tools to throw in the underseat bag. |

Couldn't fit a wallet under the S1 tail so be thankful you have the space for tools. |

"cheap chinese tools to throw in the underseat bag." Cover them in grease or they'll rust pretty bad. Both my X1's (both purchased used) came with a tool pouch under the seat that appears to be factory. They were both rusted pretty badly though. I cleaned them up on the bench grinder and smeared assembly lube all over them before putting them back in the bag and under the seat. |

My '99 X1 did not. Only came with an orange owners manual under the seat. |

If I ever needed tools, out on the road, maybe in the middle of the night, on a deserted, dark, backroad, in the rain, when I might be a little hurt, the last thing I'd want would be some cheap chinese tools. But, better than nothing, I guess. |

If you are at the point of needing it, cheap tools probably won't cut it. Try this: http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/16054.html |

My '99 M2 that I bought new did not come with tools. None of our current tubers have an OEM toolbag...but I did just get the OEM underseat bag for the S2, so I think I'll populate it with a small assortment. |

Rat, Can you shoot some pics of that bag for me? Possibly with a ruler or something as a size reference? I'm thinking my wife can make something with some improvements. I'm also looking into seeing if someone local can embroider the logo on. It looks as if it's been dropped as a registered trademark. |

Has all the tools necessary specifically for a Buell in a nice carrying pouch. Tools are imported. Price: $99.95 Okay - So why are $100 chinese tools in a fancy bag better than the ones I can put together at Harbor Freight? |

I have a drawer set aside when i service my m2. These tools then find themselves back on the bike along with zips, safetywire, odd connectors and tape.tool box shelving material is inside the covey, plastic cover keeps them there. Of course I leave the adjustable torque wrenches at home and would have to rely on the rusty elbow and small grip to keep all tight.sears has a nice toolbag, but a bit large for road use.my tank bag picks up those i cannot store below or use frequently, tp gage, rag for oil, granola and gum. |
