I saw a thread earlier this week where others had a high idle issue. Anyone have further thoughts on this? is it a voltage issue? any diagnostic advice like watching the IAC steps in diag mode... what it should be? thanks todd 2009 california 1125R with latest flash and FMF slip on O S B tune is next but I want to figure the idle thing out before installing |

Good move figuring it out before updating anything else. How high is your idle? I've read (but never researched) about the ideal IAC step settings. Mine tend to run around 100, no real idea if that's good or bad. Now you've got me wondering too Mike |

Mine idles at 1500... it seems kinda high but not excessive. |

I have had high idle on my 08 R and the first time it needed an AIT. It has done it to a lesser degree a couple times since, and manual reset of the TPS a few times in a row took care of it. |

Im at about 1700rpm.... occasional seeking but usually settles at 1700, TPS reset does not help/change anything for me |

The AIT trouble on my bike caused a much higher idle- 3 to 4,000 rpm, and when it needed the TPS reset, about 1800 to near 3,000 and hunting, when cold. It wouldn't settle down from initial cold fire. |
