This next year will be my first time to make it to Homecoming and i'm very excited to have the chance to finally get out there and meet some of you guys and gals! As many of y'all know we NEED to sell 150 banquet tickets before 12-28-09 to ensure we can reserve the Alpine Valley Resort (which offers a good place for the banquet dinner and concert from Erik's band, as well as cheaper room rates) To help encourage folks to buy there tickets ASAP, XB Lights will be giving away one free light voucher ($205 value!) to the Homecoming committee to be given away during the Homecoming event. To be eligible to win, you MUST buy your banquet ticket ON or BEFORE December 28th, 2009. I'm not sure how Rocco, Steve or dana want to handle the drawing/door gifts, but those details will come later. As well, if anyone is interested in purchasing a tail light and would want me to bring it up there to deliver please let me know. I had what looks like a catastrophic power supply failure on the computer hosting our sites this morning. It is a 7 year old dual 1GHZ G4 Macintosh, so go figure. But it gave me no warning whatsoever. I have another Mac(A Mini), that I was eventually going to move everything to anyways. This just speeds up those plans. So the site will be down for a few hours while I get the stuff OFF the Hard drives now. | ||

I've got everything up and running again. PITA. But, it's running. Surprisingly, it doesn't seem any slower. Went from a dual 1GHZ G4, to a single 1.33GHZ G4. Froggy, thanks for the offer. But I think(fingers crossed)I have everything going pretty good now. Well, we are officially at the 1/2 way point now! Let's keep 'em comming! |
