I have purchased, swapped and sold many of parts through the BadWeb classifieds. But, I'll be damned if I can find one solid person who list a motorcycle for sale and then actually goes through with the transaction. Why post something for sale and then back out of it or not return emails. I think when it comes down to it some people just don't have the balls to sell their bike. I can't figure it out. I've had at least 3 or 4 deals setup and every single one has fallen apart for one reason or another. |

I suspect that some sellers are only offering their Buells for sale due to the financial pressures of the time but, given a choice, they would really rather not sell. When confronted with the reality of how little they can get for their Buells on the used market, they may back out and find some other way to pay the bills. Also, most of know that if you sell a good bike the money will soon be gone but the regret remains. |

I've sold a bike here and sold 15 over the last few months most over the telephone to folks not in TN. I think you've just had a bad run of folks not indicative of BW norms. |

I agree with what everyone's said. I think several are like Dave has said. I say that because I've posted mine a few times, but always changed my mind after a week or two, usually because there wasn't any interest at the time. By the time a person sent me an email asking about it, I had already decided to keep it. At the same time, I bought it from a BadWebber with no flinches whatsoever. Not only was it a simple transaction, it was also a very exciting and exhilarating experience. |

Mine's still for sale, although it's essential stock now. |

I bought my xb from a badwebber, and nothing but good. On the other hand, I have had to back out of a purchase with a fellow webber, due to one of my clients "drying up;" really bad timing. There are all sorts of people online - there's no way to generalize about every Bueller on a big site like this. Trust in the Force, Luke. |

I bought my 99 S3 on ebay a few months ago. I think its more secure, if you pay by paypal. Also, you can see the seller's complete transaction history and comments. I know some people don't like to pay ebay's fees, but it works for me. Some use Craigslist, most often called Flakeslist. There's no accountability there. |

I've had at least 3 or 4 deals setup and every single one has fallen apart for one reason or another. Bad luck? Bad timing? Distance? Seems like some people have been trying for months to sell their bikes, hard times. Did you sell your Cyclone? Did you see this one... these are getting hard to find in nice shape.... http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/21/ 518135.html?1259692529 If you want a cherry, low mileage S1W, I can put you in contact with one in NM for 4k, rock solid owner... good luck in your search. |

I bought one thru here (a 2001 M2L) and it was such a seamless deal. The bike looks and rides like new. I had to drive about 3-4 hours but it is worth it. I have never had a problem with buying or selling anything here. |
