Wonder if you'll need a race license for the stuff or will they just sell it and make some MONEY like a smart person would do!!!! (Message edited by 1buell1125r on December 02, 2009) |

I THINK that they WILL sell the parts to people who acknowedge that they will be used "appropriately" - or something like that. I think they might even be able to sell pipes, Race ECM, intake filters - all that kinda stuff. Since the website is blocked for me at work, I can't even see it for another hour yet but this might be a great deal for the track rider without a racing license. |

" Some components can be used on street or track, those sold for race use only will be so marked. Please remember to obey all laws while on the street, and use the enhanced racing components to provide agility and responsiveness for a superior riding experience. If you want to experience the full advantage of these parts, we strongly recommend track days, racing schools and participation in one or more of the many great racing organizations around the world. Race exhausts should not be used on the street!" |

Hopefully all you have to pass is the money test. I would love to have a supa-dupa 1125 track bike. I never want to go racing. |

1190 cc 185 RWHP Euro Spec Is it just me or does that read like a certain company that HD killed had their sites set on WSBK in the VERY near future? I can't wait until that sinks in to some other folks minds and the questions really start to flow to HD's "leadership" on WTF were they thinking. At least I know what to do when I break this bike after the warranty is up...send it to EBR to be built up to the 1190 Euro spec. |

I'm going to do a drive by tomorrow after work. I live 8 miles from East Troy. They must be working 20 hour days over there. Jim |

I would like the light subframe and light weight battery if I could knock 15 or so lbs off. |

>>>I'm going to do a drive by tomorrow after work. There is nothing there and no one to see yet . . . next big challenge is going to occupying the space and sorting through LOTS of inventory, getting a careful count and getting prepared to "go live". Stay tuned to the website for updates. Gads . . . my wallet is starting to hurt looking at that list . . .they HAD to offer XB parts . . . this is gonna hurt.

Jim, if you go . . . drop me a note and I'll let you know who's around. There likely won't be anyone at ERB this week. But there will be some folks from BMC around. Court |

Court, I'm not planning on popping in for a visit. Just a curious cruise by. I'm sure everyone is very busy and I wouldn't want to be too nosy. I will support them when they are up and rolling. Thanks though, Jim |

> I would like the light subframe and light weight battery if I could knock 15 or so lbs off. You won't save 15, but you will save 7-8 if you do it right. I'll post up some pics later, but I fabricated my own subframe and went with a light weight battery. Including eliminating the undertail plastic piece entirely, I got somewhere around 7-8 lbs. |

The stock battery is approx 12lbs, I replaced it with a battery that weighed 2lbs and 1.8oz. You can get other batteries that weigh even less. |

Yeah, I ran a tiny 1 1/2 lb. liquid-gel battery in my S1 racebike. No charging system; just charged it between rounds and it worked perfectly. Even had enough juice to keep the electric starter which was a huge help in a 1-2 person race/track day operation. |
