I was putzing around the garage today and decided to route the fuel vent line where it was originally in 08, at the front of the motor and down infront of the clutch cover. I reused the line the dealer used when they ran it to the passenger peg.

My question is should that line be ok with the higher temps in that area or should I use some other type of hose?

Ps, what size is the Allen head for the pass peg brackets? Nothing I have fits.

The hose s/b the same as b4. The screw they used is the same used for the passenger foot guards. Mine was a hex head screw.

Thanks Cc.

I'm talking about the allen bolts that hold the pass peg brackets to the subframe. I wanna lose the pass pegs for now.

I have both sae and metric but nothing fits right.

I used a 5/16th allen wrench and an 8mm allen socket. Both fit well enough. Glad I had the wrench, because I couldn't get the socket on one of the bolts.

7 was too small, 8 seems too big.
Must be a 7.5, which I don't have.

It's 8mm, I can take a picture to prove it if necessary! Does anyone even make a 7.5mm allen?

which would explain why I don't have the 7.5 I guess.

I'll try the 8 again tomorrow. maybe they just need persuaded to fit.
