Well, I took the CR to the back woods of Missouri this week as an escape from the extended family when needed. Today, I take Stella out for a quick trip around the little town of Ozark, MO. On my way back to the house I ran into some hardened mud on the road in an S turn and down she went. I low sided her on the left. One minute the bike and I are leaned over and the next, it is sliding away from me and I am sliding on the left shoulder. The Buell Adventure jacket didn't even tear after sliding about 20-30 feet on my shoulder, elbow and forearm. The bike only suffered a heavily road rashed left pod, left case puck and left rear spool. Froggy, You got those part numbers for the pods? I need the outer plastic and black intake part. |

The gloss part and the flat black section of the pod are two pieces permanently connected and sold as one piece, like this-- PS, glad you're OK |

Sorry I don't. I got mine replaced with a new one for free thanks to a generous sponsor employee that had one laying around but didn't need. Froggy the part number guru will have to save the day. |

Thanks Froggy, Looks like all those referral fees for selling the Buells will go to replace the plastics. Do you happen to have the part number for the left side engine case and puck. On closer inspection it got into the engine case due to the puck grinding down. |

Glad you are ok man... I noticed the other day that roads are starting to get a little crappy out here in the Ozarks. I am going to keep my joy riding to a minimum. Just low slid the wife's new Scg the other day and that sucked. We'll have to link up sometime, I'm right up the road at FT Wood. |

Makes me want to cry again. A buddy with a Japanese sportbike dropped it in the driveway changing the oil (zero speed). He's looking at $350+ to undo the damage. I bet if Buell built it so it was a $500 part, Harley would have liked them better > |
