Author Message   Bettybuell Posted on Thursday, November 26, 2009 - 10:42 am:        So I'm riding 30 mph at about 3000 rpm and I look down and the tach says 6000 rpm. I stop and turn the bike off and it says 3000 rpm with the bike off. I turn it on and it does its sweep thing going from 3000 to way past the high end of the scale and back to 2000. I cycle the key again and this time it returns to 1000 rpm (key on, engine off) so I cycle the key again and it sweeps and returns to normal. It has been fine ever since.
